Milos Cove is a beautiful and tranquil resort in a remote part of Milos. It has a private rocky beach and pool with spectacular views of The Aegan Sea. It is ideal for special occasions like honeymoons, anniversaries or other celebrations. The staff was exceptional in meeting all of our needs while providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is onsite daily and is a most charming host.
It is a serene environment with premium amenities. The restaurant overlooks the Sea and adjacent mountain where we enjoyed watching goats grazing every day. Sometimes they even come down to the beach or drink out of the pool!
I highly recommend this resort is you are looking for a place to relax in luxury.
Nice hotel, but due to the location I would only stay here at the end of a trip where you plan to just stay on property for 2 days and relax + have stayed somewhere else on Milos at least 1 day closer to the main attractions.
▪ Pro:
• One of the few hotels that has its own beach, though its down a semi-steep dirt path, but they can take you down on golf card. The beach is pebble, common in Europe, but there are basic beach loungers and tiki style umbrellas.
• Incredible views of cliff side going into the ocean and nearby islands.
• Rooms are new and modern, I believe all have a plunge pool.
• Gym & Spa.
▪ Con:
• It is pretty remote from anything else you would want to go to.
• The ~12 minutes leading up to the resort is a windy, steep, dirt/rock road that is very bumpy and at night a little scary. 8 of those 12 minutes is just the driveway to get to the hotel from the ‘main’ road. For this reason we wished we rented a jeep just to do that drive.
• Shower is full glass into the bedroom.
• Breakfast not on par with other European countries but this was consistent across all Greek hotels.
• The décor is very minimalist and modern, but they went too modern with things like lights and facuets that were hard to work
Lage, Pool, sehr freundliches Personal
The location is absolutely stunning, with near private access to a beach, and the hotel is very beautifully designed. The experience is well curated, and the (vast) staff is very nice and extremely competent. The restaurant is also very good.
The obsidian spa provides a unique experience, we very much enjoyed our massage and bath treatment. Special thanks to Stella for the wonderful and attentive massage.
We didn’t have a car, and the taxis are very expensive due to the remote location and dirt road (80€/trip). On top of this expensive stay, this discouraged us from wondering around the island and we instead stayed at the hotel.
The suites are beautiful and very Instagram-friendly, but not necessarily the most comfortable.
The location is simply magical. The buildings are beautiful, the architecture as well as the placement and orientation are very well thought out. The private beach is gorgeous and secluded. The rooms are spacious, clean, beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly. They always make you feel like VIP guests. The owners are there to greet you and talk to you. I will be going back to this magical place.
I recently stayed at Milos Cove Resort, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the expectations set by its five-star rating. While the staff was friendly and professional and the views were close to perfect, we several significant issues during our visit which left us disappointed and concerned about safety.
Firstly, the room rate quoted to us was misleading. We were initially informed that the rate was for five guests, yet upon check-in, we faced an unexpected increase. This lack of transparency was frustrating, especially when compounded by the rude response from management when we sought clarification.
Secondly, safety issues in our suite, particularly with the shower door, were inadequately addressed. The door was off its track and an attempt to correct it initially was made until we informed them that we were unable to slide the door and continued to remain a safety hazard. As a "solution," they’re removed the door completely which created a hazardous environment with water on the floor and wet towels on the floor leading to an unpleasant and unsafe experience.
The most troubling aspect of our stay was the private boat excursion, which was highly recommended by the concierge. The boarding conditions were unsafe due to slippery rocks, and an unstable dock area. Despite our efforts to seek alternative solutions for our elderly mother, the responses were dismissive. The lifeguard who attempted to assist my mother was exceptional but nonetheless was unsuccessful to safely get my mom on the boat. This left my mother alone in our suite while the rest of us participated in the excursion, creating significant distress for our family.
Upon raising these safety concerns, I sent two follow-up emails, but the management team has not responded. This lack of communication further compounds our disappointment, as these issues are not merely matters of customer service – they were genuine safety concerns that needed immediate attention.
While I had high hopes for our family vacation, the unresolved safety issues and poor communication have overshadowed our overall experience. I hope that management takes these matters seriously and addresses them for future guests.
Excellent service, unique location, amazing architecture, excellent food, and great personnel !!!

The road in (
track ) .Junior suite is not a true junior suite
I had an amazing stay at Milos Cove! The hotel is stunning, with modern design, incredible sea views, and a peaceful atmosphere. My suite was beautiful and so comfortable. The road was very easy since we booked an SUV as suggested prior arrival , and once you arrive you’re rewarded with absolute peace and quietness. The staff were warm and attentive, and the food was excellent. Perfect for a relaxing, luxurious escape in Milos. Highly recommend!
We visited Milos Cove for our 25th wedding anniversary. We chose it for its seclusion and pool suites and location. The resort is STUNNING with amazing views, pool and private beach. But for the price and what I expect from a 5-star resort, there were a few issues.
Pros: views! Beach! Pool! Private pool suites with sea view! Comfy bed! Spa and fitness facilities (though we didn’t use). Full service restaurant. Service, especially wait staff at breakfast and golf cart drivers, was great.
Cons: location is remote and roads to the resort are awful. You must have a decent car. shower leaked water all over the room. Slippers provided, but no robes, which seems like a simple add for a more comfortable stay. Bath products weren’t authentic from Greece or natural which would have been more in keeping with the vibe of the resort. While breakfast and lunch were decent, dinner was honestly bad (worst meal we had). Overall the resort felt like an insta influencer paradise, but fell short in a few areas that I would expect from a 5-star.
Excellent service/ food/ rooms
The hotel is in a magnificent area, built in a way that fully blends with the surroundings
Food and service left nothing to be desired.
We loved our experience at Milos Cove! Upon arrival we were upgraded and hotel staff was super accommodating and carried our luggage to our room and gave us a tour of the hotel. It's definitely more remote and far from restaurants or town but the private beach was amazing. The restaurant can be pricey but the spa is amazing! We loved that our boat charter was able to pick us up right from the hotel dock! Truly a great experience!
Everything is good
Awesome staff great rooms fabulous chef
Breakfast needed to be done a lot better as other hotels doing much better job and offer a much better selection also it's very bad business to charge people when they ask for a wine opener to charge them five euros to bring it to the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Dishonest employees
Overcharging
The Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
To have a 5 star hotel without the basic infrastructure like a normal road leading to it makes no sense. The "dirt track" and I use that term lightly as the path leading to the hotel is practically unusable and a frightening experience to drive through, especially at night. It makes no sense to offer a 5 star accommodation if you were unwilling to make it easily accessible. The resort itself is ok. But nothing spectacular. The room was basic and severely overpriced. The dark bathroom and lack of sufficient lighting in the bathroom area made things hard when you wanted to get ready. The constant need for buggy rides to get up and down the hotel was fun at first but annoying after a few hours. The room was not the cleanest. The "black out blindes" still let the light through. The air-conditioning was very noisy. There are better, more accessible hotels on the island for a lot less in terms of money. If you do decide to go for this hotel, get a 4×4 vehicle at the very least. The terrain on that path is frightening. To be on the safe side, consider hiring a tank and driving there with that.
The property is stunning, designed in a refined minimalist style that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. It feels secluded and peaceful, offering a true sense of privacy, yet without ever feeling isolated
What could be improved:
• The breakfast, while fresh, feels a bit repetitive and could benefit from more variety
• The lunch and dinner menu is quite limited, leaving few options for longer stays.
• It would be nice to have a choice of pillow types, as the ones provided are rather firm and may not suit everyone.
