Very nice staff, but very noisy hotel.
Pros:

The staff!! They are all very pleasant , polite, etc.

Cons:

The noise. This hotel is too noisy, inside and outside there is too much noise.
The doors of the rooms are useless to stop this continuous noise (day and night!).

Value for money. Spacious. Good breakfast

Cons:

Construction is taking place in the property next door so there were drilling sounds from the morning to the end of the day. Not sure how long this will be the case for.

In the evening, I was unable to sleep because of the music and noise coming from rooftop restaurant. At 00:30, I asked to be moved to a lower floor but reception said this was not possible. The music and noise went on for well into the early hours.

Tout. Le personnel n’est pas aimable du tout ; jamais de bonjour, de merci ou autres. On ne vous calcule juste pas, c’est comme si le client n’existait tout simplement pas. Aucun sens du service client. Par exemple, j’ai demandé une paire de ciseaux car j’en avais besoin pour couper un pansement (raison médicale, donc ; j’ai appelé la réception et il m’a été dit qu’il n’y avait pas de ciseaux dans l’hôtel. C’est fou quand même ! Le personnel ne fait absolument rien pour vous aider. De plus, l’hôtel est très très bruyant : si vous souhaitez vous reposer, passez votre chemin !
Nous avions hâte de partir !

Cons:

The room was not clean upon our arrival. The toothbrushes of the previous guests were still left in the room when we checked in. Furthermore, the bed and bed linens were not properly cleaned.

More concerningly, we found a piece of broken glass inside the bed, which could have caused a serious injury and nearly cut our foot.

We reported these issues to the reception staff; however, we did not receive a satisfactory response. Moreover, no apology was offered for the inconvenience and potential safety risk we experienced.

This level of cleanliness and customer service was far below acceptable standards and significantly affected our stay.

Wonderful Westlands Stay
Pros:

Large comfortable room with a personalised theme to celebrate birthday. Rooftop pool and bar were great. Food and drink reasonably priced.

Cons:

Kitchen amenities (cups and plates etc) were only for one person however this is a minor detail.
