The breakfast was fine — comparable to what you’d find at other hotels.

Cons:

The budget room, however, felt like it was put together with very cheap materials: a fabric shower curtain instead of glass, and plastic sheeting on the walls instead of proper tiling. Overall, it gave more the impression of a small cabin than a proper hotel room.

La habitación me gustó, y la atención de l personal también.

Cons:

El baño de nuestra habitación me pareció horrible, con olor a cerrado y un ruido del extractor insoportable. El desayuno estaba bien pero me esperaba más variedad y más espacio.

Die Lage des Hotels an sich war gut.

Cons:

Auf den Bildern sah das Hotel und das Zimmer viel besser aus. Schlechtestes Hotel wo ich in Island war. Sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten ein Zimmer in einem Container-Anbau. Das Bad war sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Wir fühlten uns gar nicht wohl hier und für diesen Preis nie wieder.

Confortable mais n’espérez pas faire des grasses matinées en été car le soleil vous réveillera à l’aube à cause des ride

Bonne localisation, conciergerie ouverte h24 , lit confortable

Cons:

Les rideaux ne sont pas occultant , donc nous étions réveillés au alentours de 6h du matin tous les jours à cause de la lumière , shampoing périmé depuis mars ( on est en juin), douche ultra petite et pas pratique

Vernünftiges Hotel ohne Besonderheiten
Pros:

Ein eigentlich klassisches Businesshotel, dass sich die Lage zwischen Vik und Diamond Beach teuer bezahlen lässt. Freundliche Mitarbeiter und ein wirklich ausgezeichnetes Restaurant mit tollem Abendessen.
Freier Kaffee und Tee war auch nett.

Cons:

Für den Preis hatte ich schon einiges mehr erwartet. Die Betten waren ok, aber zwei zusammengeschobene Einzelbetten. Es gab keine Dusche, sondern eine Badewanne mit Duschfunktion. Das Frühstück war grundsolide aber mehr auch nicht. Es gab ein verkochtes Rührei aus der Tube und Toast, Porridge und preiswerte Wurst und Käse. Alles ok, aber wie gesagt für den Preis hätte ich nen Tick mehr erwartet.

Pros:

Goede ligging langs de golden circle. Het ontbijtrestaurant is mooi en modern.

Cons:

Gordijnen verduusterde niet volledig, het laminaat in de kamer is opgezwollen, de badkamer zit vol met schimmelplekken. Als geheel is het zeer gedateerd en ziet het eruit als een inrichting.
In de zomer komen er kleine mugjes je kamer in als het raam open staat, welke compleet je nacht verstoren. Er zit geen luchtinstallatie in waardoor het raam de enige optie voor frisse lucht is.

Beautiful location, but not quite worth the price
Pros:

The property is in a beautiful, peaceful setting near Kirkjubæjarklaustur, surrounded by nature. One of the highlights was seeing horses roaming freely around the area. The surroundings are truly lovely and very quiet, making it a great place to relax. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and there was plenty of free parking right in front of the hotel.

Cons:

The room felt dated. There was no fridge, one of the bathroom ceiling panels was open (we closed it), the shower was leaky, and our room wasn't cleaned despite us hanging the cleaning sign on the door. There was also garbage sitting next to the hotel entrance for two days. The hair dryer was old and very slow, and the attachment didn't even belong to the dryer in our room. Overall, I expected better maintenance and attention to detail given the cost, which is high even by Icelandic standards.
