エレベーターからかなり離れた部屋だったのをお願いしたらすぐに変更してくれた（子供が一緒だったので迷子になりそうだった為）

Nice place to stay but definitely need more dryers in the laundry area.
Pros:

Good location about 10 minutes walk to Kyoto station. Unlimited free popsicles. Water and ice stations were very useful for those hot summer days. Morning buffet was of great value. Did not get to use onsen but one was available but not tattoo friendly.

Cons:

The rooms could use more counter or storage space. You did not have a lot of room to put your clothes away. Limited hangers or drawers. You practically had to live out of your suitcase. Also for such a big facility, having only four washers and four dryers is a joke. They were always occupied. I had to bring my wet clothes to a nearby 24 hour laundry place to dry due to how busy it was.

快適に過ごすことができました。
Pros:

朝食が美味しかった。大浴場があったこと。お部屋の清潔さと、洗濯機や製氷器、飲み水やアイスの提供など、充実していたので、真夏の京都の滞在で、とても助かりました。

Cons:

チェックインの際に、客側が全て手続きをして、ホテルの人はそれを見てるだけだったので、何のために人がいるのだろうと、不思議に感じました。また、チェックインの際に、大浴場を利用するための暗証番号などの説明がなかったので、残念に思いました。
京都駅が想像以上に広かったので、「京都八条東口徒歩5分」＝新幹線改札から15分と、案外遠いなぁと感じました。

Lovely hotel!
Pros:

Walking distance from kioto station. Great guest service, free icecream, good laundry, bigger rooms that other hotels in japan.

Cons:

You have to take the bus to get to tourist sites, nos walking distance. Elevators dirty. Breakfast not so international.

Nice hotel for my first stay in Kyoto
Pros:

Nice Hotel, my family has stayed 6 nights there, friendly staff, good facilities and good location. There’s a nice public bath free to guests, which is really relaxing after whole day’s walking. 5 minutes walking to JR Tokyo station and Kujo subway station, and many eating places nearby.

Cons:

We chose twice Eco cleaning mode cleaning because 6 nights stay, linens need not changing but the bed still should be made.

Excellent, carefree stay.
Pros:

We didn’t take breakfast as there are enough places to eat around the corner. Location is good: 7 minutes walk from station (just in wrong direction as everything that is for visiting seems to be on the other side of the station), some well priced restaurants around the hotel, good bus, metro and train connections, 10min walk from big shopping mall (with reasonably priced stores like zara and gap and some much cheaper, as well as arcades for a rainy day).
Facilities excellent: spacious room, big bed even for my 5 year old (even thought in other places in Japan he is considered a child so doesn’t get extra bed space), fresh pyjamas and towels daily. On the first floor can get teabags, face care products as well as other amenities for free, free icecream as well - which is a nice touch, laundry room available, free access to onsen which was very good and not crowded as food size. Staff was friendly, everything was very well, clean. Every floor had a ironing board and iron as well as microwave to heat food with utensils. Very practical hotel.

Cons:

Maybe just a bit location as was on the wrong side of Kyoto train station, but cant complain as it was 7min walk only to Kyoto station.
