We really enjoyed our stay, we had a lovely room (202) very close to the pool. I wouldn’t have minded some draw space in the room, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.
Convenient location, the main town is a 10 minute walk down a well lit road, but the hotel offers free shuttle services before 7pm which was handy in the heat.
Staff were very friendly and everything was just easy.
I personally think water and pool towels should be free but oh well, it didn’t put us off.
Very peaceful relaxed vibes.
We would most definitely return, Tropea is beautiful.
Breakfast was really busy most days but the staff were really good at turning round the tables and keeping the food topped up. A good variety of food (but no baked beans for us British folk!)

An absolute gem in Tropea!

Our stay at Sentido Michelizia Resort was nothing short of fantastic. The standout feature of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. The warmth, friendliness and attentiveness of the team perfectly reflect southern Italian hospitality. They don’t treat you like guests – they treat you like friends.

A special mention goes to the wonderful reception team, especially Maria and Natalia, who were always kind, helpful and happy to assist with anything we needed. The restaurant manager was impeccable, ensuring everything ran smoothly, while Sam and Arami in the restaurant made every meal enjoyable with their friendly and cheerful personalities. Angelo and Francesco at the pool bar were equally fantastic. What really stood out was that every member of staff took the time to greet us and make us feel valued throughout our stay.

The location is excellent – just a 10-minute walk into the beautiful centre of Tropea, making it easy to explore the town while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the resort. There’s also a large free car park, which is ideal if you want to hire a car and discover more of Calabria. We used Target Rental, who conveniently delivered and collected the car directly from the hotel.

We stayed in a Superior Room, which was spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. It featured a powerful shower, minibar, TV and an extremely comfortable bed. Housekeeping did an excellent job, with the room cleaned to a high standard every day.

The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast offered an impressive selection of fresh pastries, fruit, cakes, yoghurts, salads, cold meats, cheeses and fresh juices, with plenty of choice for every taste.

Dinner was equally impressive. The buffet starters included a huge variety of delicious options, followed by a live pasta cooking station serving freshly prepared pasta dishes that changed daily. There was also an excellent selection of hot dishes, including meats, fish, prawns and vegetables. To finish, there were tempting cakes and some truly delicious gelato.

Sentido Michelizia Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. With its fantastic location, comfortable rooms, excellent food and, above all, its exceptional staff, it is a hotel we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tropea.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special and creating memories we will cherish for a long time. We can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful time, about a 15 min walk from the train station. About 12 min walk to Tropea main town.
Hotel was fabulous, breakfast was delicious with loads of choices. The pool area was well maintained and easy to get a sun lounger (we were there end of July). Superior room was a good size with nice sized bathroom. The mattress was a bit hard but still comfortable. We ate dinner one evening in the hotel which was good value and lots of choices. The rest of the week we ate in Tropea as there were so many restaurants. We did a snorkelling boat trip which was fun, and a day trip to Pizzo well worth a visit. Had the most wonderful holiday, and would go back and stay at Sentido Michelizia Tropea again. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Definitely worth the 4* in fact we had such a lovely time we would give it 5*. Thank you again.

Breakfast was delicious with tons of options. The pool bar and bartenders were very nice. The pool area was very pretty and the place overall was clean.

The food was great, regardless of the meal. Good stuff.
The staff is well-trained and disciplined. Very good staff and very cordial.
The AC worked pretty well in the room. Not overly "cool," but not hot either. Seemed just about right.

On our arrival the reception was very nice and we were also offered a breakfast. The staff at the r eception desk were all nice and accomodating. Very nice swimming pool and good menu by the pool. Exellent location just 10mins walk from the center of Tropea.
