It was a great location! Very clean and convenient! Amazing breakfast!

I love Drury for the breakfast and dinner with the drinks. So this was exactly what I expected. What I didn't expect was for Dylan to make my day and to put me and my family into a room with an awesome view of the Space Center. It was the last part of our first family vacation and it was the cherry on top.
Thanks again for everything and if we come back we will be staying at this Drury again.

I love the Drury inn chain in general but this Drury is exceptional. All the workers a friendly, caring and kind. They really seem to work as a team and care about their clients. Breakfast is great. And so is the evening round up. We stayed two nights. And it was really relaxing and convenient to get to the rocket center and AUH. Close to some sopping areas as well

The room

Everything was great. I can not say enough good things about the staff and the hotel. This is the only place I'll stay when visiting Huntsville.

If you want your room cleaned – you better be proactive and persistent with the front desk on the front end of your stay.

I would have loved to leave a 5-star review and that’s honestly what I expected when I arrived. The hotel is furnished nicely, the front desk staff is friendly, the pool area is great, and the breakfast/kickback area is a nice size and serviced well. The real sour note in our visit, however, was housekeeping.

On our second day, we left the hotel at 8:30am to head over to the U.S. Rocket & Space Center and did not return until after 5:00pm. We were incredibly disappointed to enter our room and realize that it has not been touched by housekeeping. Wet towels remained in a pile in the bathroom floor, beds had not been made, trash was in the trashcans, and the toilet needed cleaning. Our room was DIRECTLY BESIDE the housekeeping closet, and I had been awoken early that morning to them going in and out of the closet and allowing the door to shut loudly. Hearing them again late at night after we had gone to bed was a bit of “salt in the wound.”

I immediately made my way to the front desk to inquire about it. They were surprised and puzzled that my room had not been touched and looked up my reservation and account to make sure that I had not opted out of housekeeping services in exchange for Drury Rewards points for each day of our stay. They confirmed I had not, and simply offered some fresh towels.

They did NOT apologize for my inconvenience. They did NOT offer to have housekeeping come clean it right then. They did NOT offer for someone to come and at least pick up the wet dirty towels, even after I had asked where I could put them. They did NOT even offer to give me the reward points in my Drury account. Any of these would have been expected for quality trained customer service anywhere. When I checked out of the hotel, the person at the front desk did not ask me how my stay was or if I enjoyed my stay as I am typically accustomed to with Drury Inns. She simply said, “alright…you’re done.” Just really disappointing from what I am used to with this brand.

I received a survey in my email after checking out and I shared this information and my dissatisfaction. I fully expected a manager to reach out and apologize and offer to remedy our inconveniences in some way. The only thing I got was a simple email from the Guest Services Supervisor that said “We sincerely regret that your experience fell short of expectations.”

Bottom line…this hotel is a great location if you’re going to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, it has great amenities, and is a clean building. But if you value your room being cleaned, I suggest you be very proactive and persistent on the front end to make sure they don’t skip over you or choose another hotel in the area.

I always stay here when I’m in Huntsville. It’s the best there is!!! Never had a bad experience here.
