Good location, great staff, small and dark rooms
Pros:

Location is unbeatable: close proximity of many good restaurants. Building is somewhat new, so the décor is nice, rooms are small, clean, and in good shape, AC works well. Breakfast is very good, plenty of good options, fine coffee and the Peruvian restaurant is worth the visit. Staff is friendly.

Cons:

The Gym is tiny, with the bare minimum to be useful, although it has good equipment. Most of the rooms are small and really dark: the building is surrounded by other buildings that are very close, so expect no views of anything and the abre minimum of daylight.

Somos em quatro pessoas, e fomos empinhocados em um quarto proporcionalmente pequeno pela quantidade de hospedes. O sofa cama era grudado a cama de casal, sequer tinha condicoes de passar entre os dois. Sequer o sofa cama naoera encostado na parede, em razao do abajur da cama de casal, causando um certo desconforto para quem dorme. Pelo valor diaria cobrada, considero inadmissível. Alem disso, quando fizemos a reserva nao ficou descrito que o valor do cafe da manha nao estava incluido no preco da diaria. Deveriam ter informado.

Acho que os interruptores de luz do quarto foram feitas errado, não acendia só algumas, mas todas juntas. Uma cadeira estofada grosseiramente manchada, nojenta. Refeitório lotado, atendentes antipáticos. gente fumando na porta de entrada do hotel e nenhum funcionário para orientar. Péssima experiência, não volto.

Excellent 8-day stay for a convention – Great location and service
Pros:

I stayed at the Novotel Batel for eight nights while attending a convention in Curitiba, and it proved to be the perfect choice for an extended trip.

The location in the Batel district is fantastic. After long days at the conventions and other meetings, it was incredibly convenient to be within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping malls. The neighborhood feels very safe and lively, yet the hotel itself remained quiet and peaceful at night.

The room was comfortable and practical, even for a longer stay. It was consistently spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the work desk was functional with a stable, fast Wi-Fi connection.

However, the biggest highlight was the staff. When you stay somewhere for over a week, you really notice the consistency of the service. From the smooth check-in to the friendly morning greetings and the efficient housekeeping, everyone was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive.

The breakfast buffet also offered plenty of variety, so it never felt repetitive. A highly recommended, stress-free base for anyone traveling to Curitiba for business or events. I would definitely stay here again!
