The staff were helpful and friendly.

The location is very convenient as it’s right in town

Cons:

Lack of facilities like a mini fridge and a microwave in rooms….I understand it may be because they’ve got their own restaurant in the premises however having these in rooms would improve the guests convenience

Comfortable hotel in Ladysmith.
Pros:

Right in the center of Ladysmith, old hotel, but with charm, comfortable room, there is a restaurant where you can have dinner, breakfast is good, parking where your car is safe.

Cons:

The coffee is not real coffe, it's instant coffee, which doesn't taste good at all.

The front entrance was a put-off, but once inside you felt safe. The breakfast area needs upgrade.
Pros:

Cleanliness of the room. Showed cubicle was extremely neat and had new door. The entire property was very clean and parking was safe.

Cons:

Simple things like extra toilet paper. No shampoo and body lotion.
The soap was very small - kept falling through the soap holder. There is a damp odour in the main reception area and breakfast place. New carpets will solve the problem.

Cons:

I wanted to watch a Soccer game it was Kaizer chiefs vs orlando pirates i couldn't watch it all bcs they don't have Dstv and open view channels don't advertise betway premiership,

Big disappointment they don't have fridges in their rooms you hqve to pay some certain amount as a guest for them to get bring it for you , of which is a big disappointment considering those are some essential things a hotel must have

Pros:

In the middle of town, noisy, no one helped with our bags from the car park. The rooms are ld like an old gentleman's club. We thought about moving but too much of s hassle. The actual facility is nowhere near booking.com's pictures.

Cons:

Some years overdue for refurbishment (or redevelopment?). Must have been great, royal even, in its day, bur is now a bit Prince Andrew.
