It was so pretty and in a good location. Everyone was so friendly and breakfast was great- lots of options and got to sit in the pretty garden.

Lovely location in the heart of Monterosso, 5 mins from beach, We had a large room with mezzanine and super comfy bed. The balcony area over looking the street was a highlight with free filtered water, coffee, ice and fresh juice available all day! We found it a relaxing place to sit after our meal in town.

Everything was amazing. Very central location and the host was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotless with great facilities and the breakfast and coffee was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend to people to stay here.

Skøn terrasse, hvor man kan sidde og nyde udsigten ud over Old Town. Dejlig morgenmad, og mulighed for selv at lave friskpresset juice. Croissanter m.m. kan man spise af i løbet af dagen indtil der ikke er flere. Vand tilgængeligt døgnet rundt.

Questa struttura ci ha riservato diverse sorprese, andando oltre le aspettative. Personale molto cordiale e professionale, ottima colazione e ottimo servizio in generale. In più le camere sono molto belle, pulite e curate.
La vera sorpresa è stata la disponibilità ogni giorno dei teli mare per la spiaggia e avere a disposizione negli spazi comuni acqua fresca, brioches e focaccia tutto il giorno. Questi servizi hanno apportato sicuramente un valore aggiunto all'esperienza! Torneremo sicuramente.

The property owner, Giovanni, makes you feel like you’re being welcomed into his home! My wife and I stayed here with my mom and her parents. We had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment you step foot inside you will be treated with respect and given a ton of incredible information about the area. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in an incredible location. Our whole group appreciated the breakfast and hospitality. There are stairs to get up to the hotel rooms and it is a 10 minute walk from the train station but unless your health precludes you I would highly recommend booking this place as your home base for your trip to Cinque Terre.

We had a wonderful stay at Laconda. The patio overlooks the center of town. An excellent breakfast is also served on the patio with capaccino. We frequently sat here for relaxation, enjoying the complimentary waters and snacks, while looking down upon town center. The rooms were quite nice. The owners were friendly and provided good tips for seeing the area. They also run a lovely spot in town where we had drinks and delicious panini street side. We spent two afternoons here, enjoying slowing down, a short walk from the beach where our kids were. We hope to return, thank you!

I would give more than five stars if I could!

This was my second time staying at Locanda Il Maestrale, and somehow it was even better than I remembered. ( and last time I thought it was amazing that’s why I re-booked!) We stayed for 10 days, and every single day was wonderful.

The hotel is spotless, comfortable, and so well cared for. Everything is impeccably clean, and you can tell how much pride they take in making guests feel at home.

A special thank you to Giovanni, who truly made our stay unforgettable. Every morning he already knew our cappuccino order before we even asked! He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to share recommendations and helpful tips about the area. His genuine hospitality is something you don’t come across every day.

Breakfast was one of our favorite parts of each morning. There was an amazing selection of fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, croissants, toast, and even a machine to make your own fresh-squeezed orange juice from whole oranges. It was the perfect way to start every day.

Because we stayed for such a long visit, Giovanni even surprised us with a small anchovy artwork as a farewell gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant so much to us. It’s little touches like that that make this place feel truly special.

Locanda Il Maestrale isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place that makes you feel like family. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I already can’t wait to return!!!

We love Locanda Il Maestrale so much! It was an absolute dream. We were there for our 10 years anniversary and the they upgraded our room to a king size bed and surprised us with champagne to help us celebrate. Breakfast is included and the owner is the one making coffee per request for you in the morning. If you want eggs he can make it to your liking, you just have to let him know. Croissants, regular water, sparkling water, coffee, fruits, and freshly pressed orange juice are available all day long until 7pm. You can get any of those things throughout the day. The staff and owner were all so kind and the location was just perfect! About 4 mins walk to the beach and about 10 mins walk to the train station. I highly recommend this place.
