We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, small property in the heart of Monterosso.
Pros:

Fantastic central location with friendly, helpful hosts.
Spotlessly clean throughout and a lovely patio area overlooking the main thoroughfare to enjoy breakfast.

+ Small family-run hotel with only six rooms, creating a personal and relaxed atmosphere.
+ Friendly and helpful staff who were attentive throughout our stay.
+ Fresh orange juice, water, tee, fruits, croissants and coffee included in the price.
+ The owner Giovanni also provided useful local recommendations and helped arrange discounted train day passes.
+ Excellent central location, ideal for exploring Monterosso al Mare and the rest of the Cinque Terre.
+ Beautiful terrace, perfect for breakfast, a glass of wine, or relaxing after a day out.
+ Clean and very well maintained.
+ Monterosso al Mare was our favourite of the five Cinque Terre villages, and this hotel made the experience even better.

Amazing stay in Monterosso!
Pros:

Absolutely everything! Giovanni and Koni are incredible people, they treated us super well. Breakfast is amazing. As soon as we go to the reception every morning, first question Giovanni ask is: “cappuccino, espresso?…..” What a great time we had at this place and we will definitely be back!

Pros:

Absolute perfect location, beautiful rooms with everything you need in it, spotlessly clean also . The hosts and all there staff are kind, caring and always helpful, the highlight is the beautiful breakfast, especially the fruit bowl and pastries and Giovanni makes the best coffee for fussy me

Pros:

We loved the location, which was about a 10 minute walk from the train station, making it handy to visit the other villages. We also loved the breakfast- fresh squeezed orange juice, pastries, a delicious fruit bowl, meats and cheeses. We ate on the patio garden, which was lovely. We enjoyed access to tea/coffee/water and snacks all day. A really lovely place to stay. Bring good footwear if you plan to hike. We hiked Vernazza to Monterosso, which took just over 2 hours, and Corniglia to Vernazza, which took just under 2 hours.

Pros:

We loved our stay! The room was comfortable, but small. But the room size didn’t matter since we were in a great location for our Cinque Terre exploration by hiking, train and ferry. Breakfasts were good and enjoyed on the terrace. Lots of lunch and dinner options nearby. Our host was very helpful with any of our questions.

Pros:

Our stay at Locanda Il Maestrale was so memorable! The Locanda is in the heart of Monterosso which made us feel like locals. It was really special when all the day tourists left the quaint town and we could enjoy the town at night. We loved sitting on the balcony at night. The hosts were super accommodating! They made sure we were comfortable and felt at home.
