The person providing the tea and coffee and toilet rolls failed to provide and replenish items every day.

THE WHITE ROCK HOTEL IS ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS FOOD EXCELLENT STAFF FRIENDLY NOTHING IS EVER ENOUGH FOR THEM THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN SPACIOUS EVERY THING IS ON HAND IF NOT THE STAFF WILL FIND IT THE RECEPTION STAFF CONNOT DO ENOUGH NOR THE BAR STAFF ALSO YOU HAVE THE WHITE ROCK THEATRE RIGHT NEXT DOOR WITH EXCELLENT SHOWS ALSO YOU CAN STAY OVERNIGHT IN THE HOTEL FOR £80 IN A DOUBLE ROOM AND A GRETAT BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING WITH TOAST - JUICE- TEA- OR COFFEE £7.20.
COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG.
1. Perfect location, beach right across the road.
2. Every member of staff we met were friendly & helpfully.
3. Room was clean, bath/ shower good, plenty of hot water.
4. Breakfast.. we paid for breakfasts, which was superb value. A great selection, plus 20%off for staying guests. We paid £13.00 for two small(but plenty!)cooked breakfasts including a hot drink...
5.Small car park at the back... we were lucky enough to get a space.
Only a couple of things... the mattress dipped one side so to felt you were going to roll out if bed!.. we had to put towels under the bed to make level..
Athough there was a small wardrobe there was no draw space... the room wasn't huge, but could hv had two bed side cabinets with drawers instead of tables...
We came in boiling hot weather.. there was a fan, but the duvet was 10.5.. so a winter duvet!. We removed&slept under the cover but the room was very cluttered with storing this & as nowhere to put clothes.
However, overall very good value for money, &we had a great break.
Freundlich gestaltetes Hotel direkt am Pier. Tolle Aussicht auf das Meer vom Zimmer oder auch der Restaurantterasse.
Wunderbar gelegen um Strand, Altstadt zu genießen oder um zu Wandern.
Der Verkehr von der anliegenden Straße kann schon laut sein.

The soundproofing in the room wasn’t very good.
Staff were courteous, friendly and efficient, especially Maddie on the front desk. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good and served until 11am, and the cafe/bar was open all day. Just across the road from the beach.
Although the sea view room was great, the traffic outside, whilst not continuous, was noisy throughout the night. We were changed to a rear room for our second night which was much quieter. (The change was made cheerfully and without fuss.)
