The room was very comfortable, with a great view, the breakfast was better than some hotels and the staff were very helpful with a laundry problem I had at the last minute and in general.
I don't understand why there can't be a small, cordoned off smoking area on the terrace. I, and other disgusting animals (smokers) I spoke to, will not use the bar if we can't have a smoke.
Laid back and wonderful terrace!
Lifts and small bed!
Location good. Would have liked more info re parking but no problems. Staff were really friendly and worked hard. Food good. Liked sitting on the front of hotel outside for coffee, food. Room comfy and well placed.
For a Premier room felt it was on the small side. No air conditioner as old hotel so very stuffy although we were provided with fan to aerate but not cool temp.
Lovely location. Great terrace for snacks, drinks with a view of the sea.
The room doors need updating as they tend to bang shut. Potentially disturbing for residents.
Friendly & helpful greeting on arrival. Excellent location. Bed very clean and comfortable.
The veranda looked a little tired.
Lift nearest our room was very cramped. The food could have been better presented and was a little bland.
The underside of the non slip mat for the shower was disappointing in that mould had accumulated. Otherwise all the glass etc was excellent.
From the moment we walked in the receptionist was very friendly and helpfull nothing was to much trouble as were all the staff they all went out of their way to help also location was excellent next to the white rock theatre breakfast was also excellent they had excellent beer on hand pull we managed to get a parking space behind hotel will definitely be coming back back

The room was well equipped with everything you need. Excellent breakfast. The location right on the seafront was also convenient for walking into the town.
Being on the front the traffic was a bit noisy even though the widows were double glazed.
