We will be booking again, perfect hotel and easily accessible to Chelmsford.
Pros:

Just perfect.
Pros:

The room was a delight, clean and well equipped with everything I needed, the USB ports by the bed are a great idea. The breakfast at Channels Bar and Brasserie was well cooked. The staff at the hotel were helpful and charming. This was a fantastic place to stay, only which I had stayed longer.

Lovely hotel hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Chelmsford.
Pros:

This is in a perfect location for a stay in Chelmsford. A lovely building with no traffic noise, great character rooms. It was such a pleasure to stay here for a business meeting. So much better than the chain hotels at a great price and with free parking. I will definitely come back especially when the horse racing is on. My wife will love it.

Great hotel with modern, quality and comfortable rooms
Pros:

It was modern and comfortable. Rooms were a nice size, bed was great and bathroom was very nice. The small details were done excellently - a bottle of tap water in the room, plug sockets by the bed, TV, air con, mini fridge (which you have to pay for but not extortionate). Overall a brilliant hotel and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
