Samui Mermaid Resort Garden Side

Poolen var møg varm og der var ikke rent i villaerne, og stikkontakterne virkede ikke. Der stod der ville være loftvifte men der stod en lille blæser på et bord, så der var møg varmt. Sengen var ligesom en fold ud seng så den var møg varm, og der var ikke en dyne som sådan de havde lavet et lagn så tæppe så lagn så intet hang sammen

Pas d’AC dans les chambres, lit pas confortable, salle de bain horrible, personnel moyen

La salle de bain est assez vétuste et les toilettes font du bruit pendant la nuit, en plus on entend les avions passer

What you need to know is that the properties divided into two sections if not three but with the main road being between the beach and the second section so you end up staying across the street from the beach the huts are like a small community.. and I wouldn’t call them huts per se. I’d say little boxes. So it’s a bit misguided, even though when you go back and reread the description, it’s obvious I do believe they call a garden view, but not really.

Bathrooms had a smell of drains

I booked a room with a double bed
There were options with twins but i chose a double bed. Got approved and confirmed . When i arrived i handed my passport and they informed me about check in and check out time and about the beach and the pool and while was ready to start filling some documents the reception guy told me "ah we got you a twin room" . I politely said that i didnt pay for a twin room. His tone was that he doesnt care what i booked.He has a twin room and thats what i will take. I told him i will not and ask him to cancel my booking.
He replied "you havent paid yet just cancel it yourself . I clearly asked him if i will pay any fee and he said "No. You havent paid anything .Cannot keep you money".
So i got out and tried to cancel and of course i had to pay the full amount.
I went back and his reply was
"I dont know about cancelation fees"
So another 5 minutes playing the game i paid for the double bed and he kept telling me to take the twin or get out.I asked for supervisor he said there was none around.And thankfully i cleaner lady appeared and informed him that there was a double bed room available. So i tipped the lady for saving my night and went to my room.
Next day again looking for the supervisor.And it was a younger guy looking like him around having eyes and ears on me and of course no supervisor.
I went around 7 in the evening and left at 12.00.at noon and no supervisor. Seems the supervisor comes 1-2 hours per day..
I am still wondering why they dont hire the cleaner lady as desk reception .She knew everything . She was polite with big smile and she. really tried to stay under the radar.
And it wasn't my first time in this hotel.

Jag tyckte inte rummen va speciellt fräscha, sängkläderna hade gjort sitt för några år sen kändes de som.

L'insonorisation est digne d'une tente quechua. Réveil à 2 h du matin par une dame qui hurlait, puis nous avons assisté (uniquement grâce au son dieu merci) à une prestation manifestement tarifée chez les voisins. Une nuit bien moins reposante que prévu. Dommage, car sans ça le rapport qualité-prix aurait été très bon

It was super close to the airport which meant we heard the planes going over our head every so often but other than that perfect!

The hotel next to the property is a little loud during the day! They have some beach parties with a DJ but stopped in the late afternoon. So no worries falling asleep.
