Hotel was ok but the room I had was horrible to be fair

Very small box room no 4 no curtains in room so was very light lots of dust on wardrobes vent in toilets filthy . Got in room and there was a wrap of drugs under the chair next to iron was a pink cololour threw it in bin . Bed springs were noises worn out I suspect defo not worth 165.00 for two nights

The room was lovely , asked for a sea view when booking and we had one , the staff were lovely too

No deluxe to be found here, dread to think what standard was like

Great location , clean sheets and towels , says 4Star - unsure how this was decided

Cons:

Room described as deluxe twin with sea views , the views were the only deluxe found , old coloured toilet and sink with odd seat , rusty mirror , room not big enough for a double bed so oddly spaced singles added. Peeling wallpaper and tired furniture, no cover on divan bases showing damage, very old fashioned hotel and room .

Great hotel, good food and polite professional staff
Pros:

Clean and well maintained for such an old building.

Cons:

Parking on promenade is free only from 4pm to 10am. Charges start at £5.50. We arrived at 3.15 so wished we’d arrived just a bit later. Departure was similarly just a bit rushed after breakfast to avoid paying for parking. The hotel and staff were great but the crazy parking charge system seems designed to deter families on a budget unless they’ve travelled by train and taxi from not so close rail station(even dearer).

Few days away.
Pros:

The location, value for money. The room itself was a good size and clean. Except from checking in we didnt see any staff.

Cons:

The shower room was very cramped, and very noisy as it was a saniflow system. The shower controls were upside down, shower ok.
Fire alarm went off no explanation, stopped after a few seconds.
