We didn't have breakfast but were delighted with everything at the Annandale Arms. From the welcome from Kieran to the bar person and the lovely lady who served our dinner (sorry I should have asked your names), the service was everything one could hope for. So friendly and efficient. The dinner was just delicious, we had the chicken in tarragon sauce, followed by a lemon cheesecake. So tasty.
Our room was spacious and had a bath, not always the case and we slept like tops.

The beds, which were singles, seemed a bit soft and saggy.
We had a carvery here on Sunday and it was the best we've ever had. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. We loved it that much the 5 of us went back for a 3 course meal the next night. Highly recommend and can't wait to go again.

Lovely location, great restaurant with fantastic food. Well stocked bar, comfortable rooms and wonderful friendly staff. Close to shops and other amenities and only a 20 minute walk to Moffat distillery.

The staff went out of their way to be as friendly kind and as helpful as is possible and we were made to feel very welcome. Communication had been excellent since booking. The dog friendly room was spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is excellent and we had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was freshly cooked and eggs done to perfection! We will definitely stay again.
The bathroom was a little dated generally with limited pressure in the shower. You had to step into the bath to get to the shower.
