All the parking was taken by the time I arrived, so I had to park in the street.

Lovely old hotel in a great location. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable but in need of a few repairs eg. windows, bathroom. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. Overall, a good night's stay.

The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The dog friendly bar area is nicely furnished and comfortable.
The rooms were large, nicely decorated with comfy beds.
The dog friendly rooms are 'outside' - first impressions were of old fashioned American motel rooms!
They were superficially clean but tired and a little grubby in places.

Initial Look of the bedroom when I walked in, stunning!. Building was impressive. Meal was amazing.. free parking, I did however park opposite the hotel. Great location.
Bathroom was a slight disappointment. There were a few niggles that I mentioned to staff upon leaving. .
Worst for me was the extremely strong scent of the bed sheets, pillows etc. It gave me a migraine unfortunately being so close to these items trying to sleep. My issue obviously but just thought I'd mention it. Shame as the actual bedroom was stunning.
