Everything. A beautiful hotel in a perfect city location but what really sets it apart is the exceptional staff. Kind, welcoming and friendly as well as efficient, they are the hotel's very best asset. The hotel itself is elegant and the building is historic and beautiful. The rooms are very well equipped and spotlessly clean, brilliant shower deserves a special mention. The breakfast was lovely with lot of variety and the elegant coffee shop provided a welcome respite after a day of exploring this beautiful city. A gem of a hotel, probably the best I have ever stayed in.
Beyond the control of the hotel but the weather was excessively hot, also some noise from building works nearby and some late night revellers passing by but neither were long lasting or enough to affect my delight with this great hotel.
Wonderful hotel very close to the railway station. Rooms well appointed and comfortable.Great bathroom with rainfall shower. Lovely old style dining room with the oldest coffee shop in Porto next door. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Pestana Porto and enjoyed a perfect stay. Location is excellent. Our room was spacious and perfectly clean. Breakfast was great. The staff throughout this hotel really are wonderful, Marco, Luis, Rita and Patricia to name a few.

Just stayed at the Pestana A Brasileira Porto, great central location, rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. At breakfast Patricia was notably very helpful and efficient ensuring that we had a great experience.

The staff at this hotel genuinely wanted to make sure that our stay was perfect. On arrival there was a handwritten welcome note in the room together with a small bottle of port and a couple of Portuguese tarts which was a lovely touch. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful when providing advice and information as well as booking taxis for us. Our room was well appointed and we loved the Castelbel toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts offered a great choice and the service was very good too. We were very pleased with our choice of hotel in Porto and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
