Big fully equipped roooms, great staff and excellent location!
Pros:

Rooms are big, comfortable and fully equipped for a longer stay. Beds are very comfortable. Everything was clea. Staff were super helpful. Location in Bloomington is excellent, walking distance to campus, and the stadium.

Cons:

Two comments to improve, not as a dislike and not as a complaint at all:
1. Breakfast buffet is very good. Only are of improvement m offer more egg options beyond the single option of a small sandwich-sized egg omelette.
2. The gym has limited strength options, especially no leg strength building exercise options. This is an area of improvement since the gym is adequate in size with multiple cardio machines, free weights and a cable machine.

Below average accommodation
Pros:

Breakfast was about the same you get at every hotel.

Cons:

Rooms need updated and we only had one elevator operational. Took forever to get to the 4th floor.

Pros:

The pool was great the staff were really, really good- Very friendly and helpful. I liked the breakfast space it was beautiful. Very clean in the common spaces even though it was busy. I liked that they gave us as much water as we needed free it was very hot and we were helping someone move so we needed it!

Cons:

The price was a little high, the beds were noisy there was peeling on the side of the laminate furnishings. It smelled a moldy in the hall near the ice machine but the ice was fine.

A Clean Stay in Bloomington
Pros:

The Home2 Suites provides a convenient location for games and events at Memorial Stadium. It is also a good base for visiting the central IU campus and downtown Bloomington, both of which are either a short drive or a 20+ minute walk away.

Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, saying "hi" each time we passed through the lobby. They also provided helpful recommendations for good local dining options.

As Honors Diamond members, we chose a room overlooking the Miller Showers Park ponds across the street from the hotel. The room was up to the typical Home2 Suites standard and kept incredibly clean, with the exception of the sofa cushions, which were worn and stained. Most importantly, the bathroom was spotless. Our 2-Queen room also had plenty of shelves and storage space for luggage.

The common facilities included a clean pool area and a nice outdoor patio right off of it. Breakfast was typical for a Home2 Suites, with a limited selection of hot and cold items. The exterior lots had ample parking, although the pavement was crumbling in several places.

I would definitely return to this hotel when visiting Bloomington again.
