Good food, basic room.
Pros:

Old style hotel, with bar and restaurant. Very good cooked breakfasts and a wide choice of evening meals, with quality food, locally sourced.
Friendly staff, although sometimes service was slow.

Cons:

Room was quite basic. Little in the way of decoration and could do with refreshing.
Not good value for money.

Not impressed
Pros:

Convenient.

Cons:

Room was small and dated. Bed was hard and creaked. Breakfast took for ever to be served considering we were the only ones in there initially. We ordered porridge which tasted fine when it eventually arrived, so decided not to ask for toast as we were being picked up for the airport. Thought it was expensive for what we got.

Comfortable affordable and lovely standard.
Pros:

Very happy, lovely location no parking but plenty around accommodation. Staff lovely accommodation lovely quite oldie worldly. Seventeenth century coaching house. Food good.

Lovely staff,hotel lovely and comfortable. Pet friendly.

El tamaño de.la habitación es bueno. Las camas son cómodas. El desayuno está muy bien.

Cons:

Los muebles y el baño están antiguos , es muy difícil de regular la temperatura del agua en la ducha. Tiene escaleras.

Fine as a last resort but would'nt go as a choice.
Pros:

Breakfast okay if included in price. If it was additional add-on , i'd reccomend going to a local cafe instead.

Cons:

The room was unkept, dirty and in need of modernising, alot.

We gave up after the first uncomfortable night and returned home.
Pros:

The best bit was the nice lady that served us breakfast after she had to change our table as it was right in front of the cereal and juice drink serving area.

Cons:

Being in a top floor room with very narrow stair and the fact that no staff were in building during the night. This gave my wife and me a very worrying night re the possibility of the fire alarm going off and trying to exit the building with the steep and narrow stairway.
The bedroom was not good. The floor was sloping and the items on the bedside table almost slid off due to the angle. The bathroom had a very dangerous small step which was easy to forget if you got up in a sleepy state during the night. The extract fan mad a very loud vibration noise.
The door of the bathroom opened itself even when closed properly. We kept the window slightly open during the night for ventilation but as the hotel is on a main road the heavies passing through were very noisy. We left after the first night and of course lost the cost of the second night and breakfast. We have in the past been Mystery Shoppers for a well known large national hotel group.

Great staff and good location.
Pros:

Staff were excellent. Very good location as railway station and beach front were in easy walking distance. Good breakfast.

Cons:

Felt room could have been cleaner. There was a tide ring around the bath and scuff marks around the beds.
