Ok for a couple of nights in the new forest.
Pros:

Cons:

It was further from the town than expected. Only about 10 mins walk, but I thought is was in the town of Lyndhurst.
The breakfast portions was relatively small compared to other hotels and the choice very limited. It was ok, but during our 20 day UK trip staying in various places (2 nights here), this was the worst breakfast.

Nice hotel
Pros:

Nice and quiet.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike, apart from my room was very dark. I would check next time that I have an unobscured window.

Great little place to stay if visiting Lyndhurst. Lovely staff. Great value for money.
Pros:

Breakfast was just right however having to order the night before posed a dilemma as both nights we were out eating and the first night I ate quite a lot and couldn't manage my full English breakfast however if I had ordered on the day I would have just ordered toast. Our room was ok for what we needed.

Cons:

Ordering breakfast the previous evening as we eat out when on holiday and I ate so much in the evenings that come breakfast time I wasn't able to eat all I had ordered and felt this was a waste of food.

A return visit and we were not disappointed 😊
Pros:

Breakfast was served quickly, the full English was freshly cooked and plentiful. The room was good, apart from the dormer window which was difficult to open/close and a bit of a H&S issue for tall people. Dinner was delicious. The staff are great. Plenty of places to sit and relax, including underneath the pergola at the front of the hotel. Fabulous location for walking in the New Forest.

Cons:

The garden furniture looks very tatty and needs cleaning - painting the wooden tables and chairs would improve the garden area enormously.

Pleasant for over night stay but lacks comfort and welcome for longer
Pros:

The room was very nice, but a bit more attention to detail would improve our stay, lamp shade old and torn, area around tea making facilities needed cleaning , tea splashes on wall and skirting board, enterance very old and worn not at all enviting,carpet in hall and stairs dirty and worn, paint work on stairs and door chipped and old. Generally the enterance was very old and most uninviting. The garden needs attention as looks unkept, with a tidy up could be a pleasant seating area. Eat on one night in ther restaurant ,I had fish cake was very greasy and over booked, breakfast was some what better.Dout if we would stay there again.

Location near to forest, but main rd traffic spoilt silence.

Fab hotel close to many attractions such as Beaulieu
Pros:

Large room with electric fan for the hot weather. Very close to village of Lyndhurst. Fabulous staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast

Pros:

Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. Hotel is pretty and tastefully decorated. And close to lots of places of interest to visit. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Will definitely return.
