Great place to
Pros:

Beautiful hacienda! The rooms are very comfortable and the ammenities are great. We loved the activities they offer ( horseback riding, wine tastings, hikes). Food was fantastic!

Cons:

The road getting there is not the best, but nothing an suv can’t handle.

Incredibly beautiful, peaceful, clean, and safe. Wonderful staff and activities.
Pros:

The location was stunning. The staff was incredible and accommodating. The food was delicious. The activities were so fun. It was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been.

Cons:

I didn't mind it but it is very far from everything. We were busy and had everything we needed but if you're someone who needs shopping or other food it's a good drive to get there.

Mágico lugar a minutos de mi hogar
Pros:

La arquitectura del lugar es impresionante, su gastronomía es de primer nivel, las actividades son únicas y propias del entorno, y la paz que se encuentra dentro de las cuevas es simplemente indescriptible.

Cons:

El camino a las cascadas estaba bastante lleno de maleza, lo que hace evidente que no se limpia con frecuencia y complica la caminata.

Lindo hospedaje subterráneo cerca al aeropuerto de Quito

Cons:

El precio de la elaboración de las velas de piedra es muy alto y finalmente en el aeropuerto nos las retuvieron, solo teníamos equipaje de mano.

Unique place in a gorgeous location with incredible staff!
Pros:

Las Cuevas more than made up for the challenging drive! The history of the engineer that started this location has been well preserved by his family and the staff, and invokes visitors to be curious and adventurous when discovering all there is offered here. We loved the educational and delicious wine with cheese pairing led by one of the chefs. We could not have had a more perfect day for horse riding in the Andes with Jaime - what stunning views! Every meal was a delicious delight. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with everything available and will definitely return!

Cons:

The road getting there was quite treacherous, made worse by some local construction and rainy weather.

Pros:

This place is amazing. It is very family-friendly, with lots for kids to do and explore. We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and comfortable for us. There are many activities available and all were fun. Some of the things we enjoyed were a difficult hike, a night walk, beer and chocolate tastings, wine and cheese tastings, and candle making. The food is fantastic. The fireplaces are lit in the evening and our family loved sitting in front of the fire.

Excellent food, great staff, and a beautiful unique lodge.
Pros:

The staff was incredible. Friendly, responsive and very kind. The room was incredible, and the surrounding property was beautiful. Take the guided hike! It's a challenging hike but very rewarding!

Cons:

The road to and from the hotel, while I found it fun and part of the adventure, is for sure challenging. It requires some clearance on the vehicle and an experienced off road driver.

A real gem in the mountains above Quito
Pros:

Beautiful and interesting architecture. Fabulous service by staff especially Manuel who provided us with superb meals and made everything run so smoothly. Handy for the airport and a relaxing place to stay.
