Friendly staff room was exceptional

Beautiful property and lovely staff
Very well located. Relaxed & welcoming without being intrusive. Excellent cooked breakfast but I think it would be good to offer healthy alternatives like shakes & overnight oats.
No allocated parking
Wonderful historical property, and came to life throughout the day as a hub for locals and residents. All staff very welcoming and willing.
Complimentary breakfast a nice touch, food always freshly cooked and worth the wait.
Due to the age of the property things you may rely on and assume ie basic tv channels may prove challenging. You can adapt and walk around the lovely town or catch up with a good book

The Swan Inn is right in the heart of Midhurst. It is a beautiful old property that is a hub for locals and guests alike. But the best thing about the property is that the staff were all so kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. In fact, when their chef was unexpectedly sick one morning they paid for us to eat at a local cafe.
We loved our stay, but as it was so hot we had our first floor bedroom window open which meant the had the smell of the smokers outside wafting up into our room
Lovely rooms, staff were brilliant.
It was very nice. Although they did not have direct parking, there was parking just down the road by the bridge. It was no problem.
Well located
We were looked after by Matthew who was an outstanding ambassador for The Swan. We had a very good evening meal in the pub however the chef did a "no show" at breakfast but we were provided with an excellent breakfast in a cafe called Collectables just across the road - all paid for by The Swan. The Harveys beer was also very good!
