Pros:

We had three nights at Longreach Central Motel with convenience to the main street and nearby hotels and the RSL for meals, the room we had for our stay looked newly renovated and clean with comfortable beds and kitchen facilities.

Very noisy - especially on Saturday night. No hairdryer.

A secure quiet place to come back too after being out all day
Pros:

The unit has minimal food facility however location is the star quality . Food shopping/meals and general shopping all within walking distance, tourist info and access to tours also.

Cons:

Its not flash but for price and location makes it hard to beat

Clean and tidy, quiet.
Pros:

Walking distance to other pubs, shops and restruants. Room was quiet.

Cons:

The parking is very unorganised, sand ground and no designated parks, some parking in centre street parking.

Good location, if you want no frills this will suite you, but not cheap.
Pros:

The room was large with everything needed, one street back from the main shopping strip. Close to pubs and restaurants. The bathroom was a huge with a walk-in shower/wet room. Very deceiving from the location and front of the building.

Cons:

This is not what I thought it would be, the rooms are in a laneway beside the pub and the bottle shop is what you are looking at. No pools, nothing to write home about, but the location was good.

The location was fine. The room was recently renovated, and had a huge shower.

Great Location to both train and bus and main street
Pros:

Location, plenty of room, renovated bathroom, shower excellent

Cons:

bed on rollers so moved a little and no outdoor light over the stairs to the upper level where our room was. Made it unsafe checking in with luggage at night.

We won't be back.
Pros:

The location is very central.

Cons:

For the most expensive motel that we booked in western Queensland, the setting is most unattractive. One of the promoted popular facilities is "free parking" which I thought would be mandatory in Longreach. It is actually the bare dirt adjacent block which provides the view from the outdoor setting. There is one outdoor setting to service the four rooms so it is a case of first in - best dressed.
