Prime location, great food, prompt service.
Since the hotel is located at dharmshala where it is cold and rainy for almost 10 months in a year, the pool didn't have the hot/lukewarm water option. I mean you are charging a hefty price for services and still people are unable to use it coz the water is too cold to swim. What's the use of it otherwise. Also, the hotel has SPA in its name which means it's their USP. But even the month of may being a holiday season, there were no slots available for SPA session because of no staff available or the staff was on leave and the hotel didn't arrange for extra staff as per demand. Even if available, it was in noon when people are already exploring the city and nearby areas. (I feel spa demand is mostly during evenings and nights after a long tiring day). To be honest paying 10000/- per day wasn't worth the money at all.
Lovely and clean. Lovely, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and food served in the restaurant. Taxi service in reception. Room and bathroom were lovely.
Location - very far away from anything. You have to get taxis everywhere, and the prices are quite steep.
Pool - water was too cold to swim in (as under a roof and no sunlight on it).
Great location and view, very good food in the restaurant. I stayed here on night on my way to a wedding, this was perfect as it was close to the airport. Also, the hotel has a taxi service, which through i booked a driver for a few hours to explore dharamshala, great place!
Enquire if a wedding is taking place when you are visiting as in that case the beautiful rooftop terrace may not be accessible, but loved it here

Problems with the WiFi
D’Polo Club & Spa Resort is a true gem, offering an unforgettable stay with its breathtaking mountain and riverside views. The early morning and sunset vistas are simply spectacular, making it the perfect destination for nature lovers.
From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warmth and hospitality stood out.
The culinary experience was exceptional. Executive Chef Chowang Norbu and his team went above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs. The Himachali and Tibetan cuisine was absolutely delicious—an authentic taste of the region that left us wanting more.
The spa experience was top-notch. After a long six-hour road journey, the excellent massage left me feeling completely rejuvenated and relaxed.
One of the highlights of our stay was the rooftop bar. Enjoying a drink while admiring the majestic Dhauladhar mountains, especially during sunrise and sunset, was truly magical.
Overall, D’Polo Club & Spa Resort offers a premium experience with outstanding hospitality, stunning views, and excellent amenities. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
Awesome place. Nice mountain views if you book your room for the back side of the Resort. Helpful staff. Spacious and safe parking place. Food is awesome. No disturbance. As I have visited in Winters 27 dev 2024 it was good to enjoy the weather. Best place for relax. Food joints and fuel station was near by. Lots of THEKA between the market and Resort. 😁😁

Very earnest and warm hospitality from the staff.
The location - its almost at the outskirts of the town, so if you want to feel the vibe of either Dharamshala or Mcleodganj as a town, I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
Plus the hotel is a bit tired - needs a refresh badly.

Excellent location and room sizes. Roof-top bar and restaurant was amazing. Loved the recreational games.
Bathroom needs serious plumbing. Breakfast needs some improvement in quality -- although there were many choices.
We had some check in issues with the room but the general manager went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved and we had the most comfortable and best stay. The chef Mr Cheung is amazing, making us special dishes to our requirements. Highly recommend staying here as the hospitality was really good
