Hotel Miramare Stabia

The hotel in the not so crowded castelammere di stabia is a really good hotel. The rooms were fantastic with an awesome view of Versuvius and the sea.
Plenty of eating establishments around within a short walk but they all generally serve very similar dishes and got to find the one that caters to your taste and expectations.. not really hit the spot for us in ten days. We did dine in the hotel thanks to the manager and the food was superb.
Breakfast was plentiful although found the cooked breakfast food was not hot which I did bring to their attention. The staff are all great and so accommodating. I would encourage you if you have the time to search out Pietro... Who took us on a day drive down the Amalfi coast which was a great day and Pietro is very informative and can communicate in a number of languages.
The train station in easy walking distance to go up to Pompeii and Naples or down to Sorrento and indeed the ferry to Capri.

The "but" in the heading is something that I can't leave out and that is that the hotel also hires out the 7th floor for private functions. Day 3 for us had a function with excessively loud duff duff music playing which went till midnight. On complaining I was informed that it was part of the hotels business plan to do this and we had 2 more functions in the remainder of our stay. These while audible were much quieter and a better taste in music.
While management suggested to change rooms to a lower floor but that first function it wouldn't have mattered where we were.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful whenever we needed help. We did a day trip with Pedro down the Amalfi coast and couldn’t recommend it more. He was fantastic in all ways and we had a wonderful time. Only disappointing thing was the owners lease the top floor out for events at least twice a week and the music is very loud till midnight. L'emplacement en front de mer et les chambres superieures avec une jolie terrasse et vue sur le Vesuve.
La gare et le port à environ 1,5 km.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.
Le personnel est au petit soin.
Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet est très bon et varié (les mini viennoiseries sont une tuerie 😋).
Nous avions le repas du soir (excellent) compris dans notre séjour en groupe .
Le bar avec service en terrasse ou en intérieur derrière les baies vitrées est un passage incontournable en fin de journée pour déguster le spritz limoncello .
Nous recommandons à 100%.

The location is exceptional. A wide view of the bay with a big balcony from which you can watch the beautiful sunset and Mount Vesuvius. The room was well furnished and very clean. We were very comfortable there. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot to choose from.

Sehr schöne Zimmer, bequeme Betten mit richtigen Decken, grosser Spiegel, Balkon mit stylischen Fliessen, toller Ausblick aus dem Zimmer, sehr nettes Personal.

Amazing and friendly staff from Reception to the Bar staff and the restaurant staff.

Rooms very spacious and clean. Great view from balcony over looking the Harbour and with a view of Mt Vesuvius.

Dinner very nice. And breakfast has a good selection also.

Das strahlend weiße Hotel liegt direkt am Meeresufer am nördlichen Ende der belebten Strandpromenade Lungomare. Dadurch kein nächtlicher Verkehrslärm, sondern Meeresrauschen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und freundlich. Großzügige gut geschnittene Zimmer.
