Unser Lieblingshotel!

Oarsman Bay Lodge is amazing!
Pros:

Blue Lagoon bay is spectacular, great snorkeling on reef straight off the beach. Definitely recommend taking the private resort ferry from Naisoso over the South Sea boat. Only 1:45 versus 4.5 hours and still see the same stuff. Even has wifi..Enables you to get nearly a full day at the resort arriving before 9:30am rather than Sth Sea arriving at 1:30pm and by the time you checkin which is so easy at Oarsman you are 3pm by the time younget settled in. Really become the hike up the hill......but only attempt in dry weather and take the Blue Lagoon Resort track on the way down for a different route. Last but not least Tiki the manager and staff were great.

Cons:

Although one of the most protected resorts from.the trade winds in the Yasawa Island's we were unlucky with strong winds for 2 days put of 4. Way more sheltered than Paradise Cove on trade winds.

Eary, no music, rude manager and scared staff. awful food with no choice
Pros:

Location was good

Cons:

The manager tiki was awful. Staff visibly scared of him. He was rude to staff infront of all guests checking in so I can only imagine what he was like when we weren’t there. Used wording such a ‘hurry up women’ to the staff and no please or thanks when addressing them. The whole vibe of the place seems eary. Spent most of our day at the blue lagoon resort which had a polar opposite good vibe. Food was also awful but the manager was the real downfall

Will not return to this resort
Pros:

Our cabin was decorated beautifully with open air bathroom. It also has a hammock and a balcony with chairs.

Cons:

1) The bags stored in the general office which contained items to be collected by Fr Mike (for donation to the village kids) was opened without our permission. When asked, the manager said one of his staff, by the name of Mary opened it. But till the time I left the resort, I did not meet the person "Mary" though I requested to meet her;
2) Poor management as they would not allow us a later check out (must vacate by 1100) on the day we joined their tour to the Sawa-i-Lau cave and needed to use the bathroom to shower down. We were asked to use the shower rooms of the bunkers and the shower pressure was very poor.

The place to be in Fiji
Pros:

This is a wonderful place to spend your holiday for so many reasons. The staff is amazing , food is incredible ( a huge thanks to all chefs as everything was outstanding ), excursions are well organized, the structure is beautiful and very clean and then Mother Nature makes the rest as the location is stunning! Clear water with 2 reefs very easy to snorkel and with a very active marine life. Strongly recommended if you are looking for an authentic peaceful Fiji place!

Tropical ambience, beauty and peace
Pros:

All food was beautifully fresh/ cooked/presented/tasty. Exceptionally friendly staff, meeting all requests, dietary etc. Natural environment and world class snorkelling. Even the multitude of species of fish are friendly and not scared of us, snorkelling this world class coral reef in front of the resort.
Free activities such as basket weaving with coconut leaves was tops- thanks Sufi
and the medicinal plants tour so worthwhile ( thanks Lusy) demo of Fijian fish meal so yummy and appreciated.
Loved the village tour and meeting the beautiful school children. Hard to leave this beautiful place.

Cons:

Proximity of bure #7, to neighbouring resort, near their scuba shed, enough said and I am sensitive to night noise. But Oarsman Bay Lodge was at full capacity and the Adult only guests were on the whole extremely quiet. Will try to come back in future, because this is one overseas place I am sorry to leave.

It felt like home
Pros:

I had an exceptional time at Oarsman’s bay lodge. After almost eight months this was probably the place I felt welcomed the most and had the best time overall. I stayed in the dorm and it was very comfortable and spacious. A perfect mix between privacy and a real social experience.

A big shoutout to the amazing staff who was always invested in making it a great experience for everybody. Seso always amazed us with his guitar and singing skills and was always there for a great conversation or fun activities in between the day. Ben and Luke made all of us laugh everyday and it was incredible fun to head to the cave with them. Lucis medicine tour was very interesting and she was always super friendly and helpful! And Tiki made me feel welcomed from the beginning.

The food was delicious as well and the portions were on point . I am very keen to come back to this resort some day.

Sota tale!

Cons:
