Experiência muito abaixo do esperado para um hotel de 5 estrelas.
Infelizmente, a minha experiência ficou bastante aquém das expectativas. Já fiquei em vários hotéis de 3 e 4 estrelas com uma qualidade muito superior em diversos aspetos.
A cama e os travesseiros não apresentavam a qualidade que considero adequada para um hotel de 5 estrelas. Já encontrei camas e travesseiros muito mais confortáveis em hotéis de categorias inferiores.
A jacuzzi também foi uma grande desilusão. Não produzia bolhas e, na prática, funcionava mais como um ofurô do que propriamente como uma jacuzzi.
O pequeno-almoço deixou igualmente muito a desejar. A variedade e a qualidade ficaram abaixo do que já encontrei em muitos hotéis de 3 e 4 estrelas.
Outro ponto bastante negativo foi a quantidade de moscas em todo o hotel, algo que considerei particularmente desagradável, sobretudo na zona do buffet e do pequeno-almoço. Compreendo que o hotel esteja inserido numa zona rural, mas esperava que existissem medidas eficazes para minimizar este problema, como sistemas de controlo de insetos ou outras soluções que evitassem a sua presença nas áreas de alimentação.
No geral, considero que o hotel está claramente sobrevalorizado para aquilo que oferece. Na minha opinião, a experiência não corresponde ao padrão que se espera de um verdadeiro hotel de 5 estrelas e gostaria de uma reembolso para ser bem honesto.
Não recomendo e dificilmente voltaria.

This hotel is one of the best we've stayed in. We booked a suite. It was huge, originally two rooms. It had a very comfortable super king bed. Two bathrooms, a lounge area, and also a small kitchen area with cutlery, crockery and a fridge. The apartment had a large balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool area. The views were stunning across the hills and to Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle in the distance. As the balcony was south west facing it was very sunny and great to see the sun set. We had breakfast and ate at the hotel one evening. Everywhere was immaculately clean. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
Nothing really, just very busy at the pool at times. We went in September after the holidays in the UK but Portugal were still on their summer holidays.

The pools, they were clean. There seem to be a lot of activities for children but the staff could use some training. The pool bar worked nicely.
The food at breakfast and dinner was atrocious, the buffets seemed to have come out of a vending machine, there was no quality whatsoever and most of the carts sat there overheating Lildl-like pasta and eggs, you could hear everything from your room, children crying, people chatting, the furniture in the room was worn out, only four pillows for two people and one bath towel per person. The hotel's furniture was made out of PVC and plastic, very 2 star vibe. Staff was overworked and confused, the room was not ready when we came to check-in, had to wait a good half hour. The whole experience felt like, max, a 3 star hotel. How do they entitle themselves as a 5 star is beyond me!
