Good location
Pros:

The room for 4 person,exceeded my expectations; it had a balcony. The breakfast was very meager, but you won't go hungry. The location is not near to Amsterdam Central Station, but a 20-minute walk to the city center. The tram departs right in front of the hotel. The neighborhood is very pleasant, with various restaurants and cafes nearby. It's a two-minute walk from the zoo. The hotel, with its unique architecture, is larger than it appears.

Pros:

I like the big two floor room we booked, nice location. 15 minute walk to the first attraction.

Cons:

AC didnt work most of the time and it went on and off during late at night. It makes a beep so it was noisy waking us.

Bathroom needs an extractor and if it has it it doesnt work.

Lovely hotel in the quiet area close to the centre

Für einen Städtetrip sich ok, man sollte allerdings nicht zu viel erwarten.
Pros:

Zimmerreinigung, sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption,

Cons:

Es war zwar sauber, aber es war alles schon abgewohnt. Außerdem war es extrem hellhörig und zum Teil sehr laut zu unpassender Zeit. Standardzimmer extrem eng und klein. Preis zu dem unverhältnismäßig.

We have stayed 5 times now and have booked again for next year!!
Pros:

It’s a great location and the staff are so nice and helpful.

Cons:

Location and having the tram right at our door. There are three lovely bars within yards of the hotel and the walk or tram to the centre takes minutes.

Good value
Pros:

Cheap and relatively close to the center. Staff was very friendly.

Cons:

Ac went out for a night and it was very hot. Had to sleep with open window and there were trams etc.
Small pillow had a weird smell.

Great places to stay off the center
Pros:

Great staff, extremely pleasant and helpful. I wanted to surprise my wife with Chocolates and Balloons in the room and the staff made that happen! We no charge at all!
The location is good, close to many coffees and restaurants, and of course the Zoo

Cons:

The beds are a bit uncomfortable, you always have to take a tram or bus to places other than the Zoo.

Völlig überteuert
Pros:

Zimmer absolut überteuert und in die Jahre gekommen, Bett sehr "durchgelegen". Die Straßenbahn ist sehr laut vor dem Fenster (positiv, die Anbindung). Frühstück sehr gut.

Was hat uns nicht gefallen: Für diesen Preis erwartet man was sehr viel besseres...
