Absolutely Perfect - this is where you should stay if coming to Venice
Pros:

The location of the hotel is perfect to be able to sit beside the canal and watch the world go by without the the hustle and bustle of the main square and surrounding areas.
The staff could not have done more to make us feel looked after and to maximise our 5 day stay with them. They continuously went above and beyond other make our stay perfect and us feel special - Costi was a particular star!
The food is 5 star quality throughout the day, form Breakfast; which always had a large selection of top quality food and drink, through to the main restaurant menu and food which is simply exceptional, in presentation and taste!
The hotel is historically opulent, but mixed with modern luxuries and fittings. Truly stunning - If we come back to Venice, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else!

Pros:

Location is good, a little away from the center and the too crowded streets but still in walking distance from all of the main site. Hotel is located by a nice canal where you can take public transport. Staff was very efficient. Breakfast superb. inside of the hotel is well maintained, and beautiful Venice style.

Cons:

Room temperature control was not always working. Not the best view from the room. Quite expansive at over 800 euros per night... But still a wonderful place to spend some time in Venice

Tout ! De l’accueil à la chambre au dîner tout était PARFAIT !
La chambre est une œuvre d’art. On se croirait dormir dans un musée.
La conciergerie a suivi à la lettre toutes nos demandes malgré les changements de plan de dernière minute. Des petites attentions personnalisées ont été laissées dans la chambre.
Le dîner était succulent, avec un service irréprochable, aux petits soins.
Le petit déjeuner était exquis et bien varié, tout est servis à la demande.

A unique experience
Pros:

Staying in a Renaissance mansion was a truly exceptional experience ( complete with frescoes and beautiful Italian furniture in room). The staff was very courteous and accommodating

Pros:

Outstanding service from all of the staff. From the moment we booked in, we were treated like VIP's. We stayed for my wifes 50th birthday in Venice and the hotel made every effort to make sure our stay was welcoming. I highly reccomend this hotel if you are coming to Venice. The location is excellent and the local area extremely pleasant. We will be back

Convenient and comfortable first class hotel at a reasonable price
Pros:

On a canal just off the main tourist thoroughfares, it was well placed, but also peaceful. We had a large, elegant room with balcony. The room was quiet - we not disturb by any other residents. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet held a very wide variety of all manner of food - fruit, salad, fish, breads, meats, cheeses. The food was if a high standard.

Cons:

We had a little difficulty communicating in English with many of the staff - perhaps we should have spoken more succinctly. The retro shower mixing taps look good, but take some getting used to. Some of the modern lighting tech was a little irritating for older people like ourselves. A printed room and terrace menu would have been nice, rather than having to access over the tv screen
