Niks!
Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut, aber nicht excellent
Really good hotel and the location is spectacular with ocean and mountain right outside. Nice breakfast.
The curtains could be longer to ensure complete blackout for a good night sleep.
Breakfast room is fantastic, as is the breakfast itself.
Mattress was lumpy,
Goede ligging, mooie kamers, goed bed, lekker ontbijt
The property was beautiful and in a great location. Walking distance to town and a short drive to the beach. Your stay includes breakfast, which was amazing and fresh. The bar has a happy hour as well, which is a great way to relax after a long day of exploring.
Rooms were slightly small.
Overall great place and location.
Not too much
The Absolute Worst Hotel Experience—Ruined by Unacceptable Service
Of all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Iceland—and honestly, in my entire life—this is by far the worst. If you look at my review history, I am generally a very positive reviewer, or at worst, fair when facilities fall short. I am not one to exaggerate, but the treatment I received here was unacceptable.
Let's start with the facilities:
The rooms are uncomfortably small, and the shower is downright claustrophobic.
Breakfast is chaotic. The area is completely overwhelmed and cannot handle the number of guests, meaning you have to wait a long time just for a table to open up.
Amenities: There are no EV chargers available for guests.
Technology: The in-room tech is extremely limited and outdated.
However, the absolute worst part—and the main reason for this review—was the service. I am accustomed to high standards, having stayed in 5-star hotels across Switzerland, Greece, and Iceland, flown first class, and dined at Michelin-starred restaurants in Zurich. After a long, exhausting day of driving, I walked into the hotel restaurant and took a seat.
The head waiter approached me with a visibly annoyed expression and an incredibly rude attitude, telling me: "You need to wait to be seated, this isn't a bar." The audacity of that comment is baffling. I understand that waiting to be seated is standard policy, and a simple, professional "Sir, please wait to be seated" would have been perfectly fine. But the condescending, derogatory way he spoke to me was disgusting. I was too exhausted to argue and simply let it go at the time, but what a terrible way to welcome a tired guest.
Location. Facilities. Cleanness.
Very good location for sightseeing. There are shops surrounding area. Hotel facilities are clean and new.
