Onvoldoende, kamers aan straatkant te mijden
Pros:

Ruime kamer, centraal gelegen, goed onderhouden. Restaurant met behoorlijk goede keuken en correcte prijszetting

Cons:

Suite geboekt en betaald met aparte slaapkamer, junior suite gekregen met bed in zelfde kamer. Kamer aan voorzijde gebouw, vlak bij hoofdweg, veel lawaaiginder. Gezien ventilatie en koeling afwezig, met open raam slapen, alsof je op de hoofdweg slaapt. Matig ontbijtbuffet, enkel wit brood. Koffiemachine al weken defect: cappuccino komt zonder schuim en dubbele expresso komt met ongevraagde portie melk.
Personeel aan de balie kijkt niet op als je binnenkomt en babbelt rustig verder met elkaar

Het is gewoon wat je verwacht van een goed hotel. Hulpvaardig personeel, hygienische uitstraling, prima eten.

Cons:

De prijs voor een kamer in hoogseizoen is wel veel hoger dan dat je gewend zou zijn in een nederlands hotel in hoogseizoen.

Pros:

Very clean modern rooms with a great view of the mountains.

Cons:

It didn't affect us but a camping area between the hotel and the mountains seems to be expanding further along the back of the hotel. If it does expand further, in our opinion it will diminish the great view that exists today.

Pros:

Location. Nice restaurant. Great breakfast.

Cons:

Very inconvenient to bring suitcases from car to the lobby. Long walk. Steep curb. Cannot drive car to front door.

L'hôtel est très beau, grand, propre, luxueux. Belle salle pour le bar, restaurant et petit-déjeuner avec belle vue

Cons:

Un peu cher. La ville de Vik en soi n'a rien de très attirant. On y passe une nuit et on continue sa route

Great location
The facilities look new and good - well kept and clean. The rooms are a bit small but overall okay and comfortable

There is poor ventilation so the rooms feel too hot/warm (noting that outside temperature was 10 degrees and the heater was off)

The heat in the bathroom would nit turn off. Even with the bathroom door closed we had to sleep with the patio door open not very safe and didnt sllep well.. The vanity mirror light did not work. The smaller toilet flush button did not work. There was a disinfectant smell in the hallways and room. Hotel is overpriced. Had i known what the experience would be like, I would have booked elsewhere. Deceptive description and photos.

An excellent hotel in Southern Iceland.
Pros:

This is a modern and very convenient hotel with an excellent on‑site restaurant. The staff is exceptionally helpful, and the overall experience is outstanding. A great place to stay in Southern Iceland. Highly recommended.
