Accueil, calme et propreté
Le petit déjeuner demanderait à été plus fourni.
Hotel gelegen aan (drukke) doorgaande weg van Avallon naar Vezelay. Buitentemperatuur was op het moment dat wij er 2 nachten waren rond de 40 graden. de wat achterstallige en oudere kamer nr. 7 was niet voorzien van een airco, wel een kleine ventilator in de kast. ramen stonden open zodat buiten temperatuur ook de binnentemperatuur was. Kamer lag aan wegzijde dus ramen openzetten was herrie. kamer was wel schoon, bed redelijk goed. Hotel moet het meer hebben van het restaurantbezoek in de fraaie tuin.
Verhouding Prijs/kwaliteit (90,00 per nacht) voor kamer 7 is uit balans verder was de WIFI verbinding ronduit bagger, meestal geen of heel traag.
L'albergo è accogliente, noi per il gran caldo non abbiamo usufruito del giardino davanti, molto ben tenuto. Non avendo aria condizionata in questi giorni di canicola in Francia, ci sono stati comunque forniti due ventilatori.
Stanza piccola ma pulita e confortevole. Non c è ascensore. Parcheggio davanti hotel.

Le cadre de l'hôtel, au calme, et la qualité de l'accueil
La chambre est propre et confortable (sommeils légers évitez les chambres sur route, axe Avallon /Vézelay très fréquenté, personnellement réveillé dès 5 h du matin) .Bien que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas continental, il était excellent, avec des produit de qualité. Je conseille aussi le restaurant sans hésiter, encore une fois avec des produits de qualité.
Le coté bourru du propriétaire qui nous a fait passé pour des emmerdeurs devant l'assistance, alors que nous avions simplement demandé une table à l'ombre de la terrasse, en ce jour de fortes chaleurs, ma femme devant éviter le soleil pour raisons médicales.
The host was charming and very helpful. This is a very pleasant building in a great location. The village is peaceful and worth a visit.

Charming small hotel in a quiet village in the Morvan natural park
Comfortable beds (all seven bedrooms seem to over look the lovely garden and we slept soundly in the quiet environment and woke up to lovely birdsong) and clean bathrooms
We opted to eat dinner in the restaurant and the quality and presentation was very good for such a small restaurant.
The owner was friendly and very happy to accommodate all our asks (and spoke perfect English)
Nothing to not like! However it is worth mentioning that Pontaubert is a quiet sleepy little town, but a very easy drive to Vezelay (which was our main destination and is lovely, by the way)
