Beautifully decorated, relaxing place with friendly staff and a huge warm pool. And very close to lots of great restaurants around the harbour. Plenty of sun-beds and good music playing. Good views too!

Great location for those who are mobile as it sits above the harbour with a short walk down 124 steps and a steep hill. The staff were mostly cert helpful. Little freebies like the free sun hat and sun cream and a postcard that you can write on to send home and The Bikini pay the postage. Pool towels available free of charge, free electric bike hire and SUP hire. The drink and food prices are more or less in line with that you'd pay in the resort centre. The vibe around the place is very relaxed, no loud music. The decor is bo-ho, hippyish, helping the laid back atmosphere. The waiting staff are excellent. Food is good at the snack bar, breakfast is plentiful, and we could order an omelette and fresh coffee as well as helping ourselves to coffee from a pot. We only ate at the restaurant once and were not disappointed.
One or two gripes. Firstly it's adult only but in the evening at the rooftop bar and restaurant there were children present, probably as the restaurant is a concession run affair and people can book. A little disappointed to hear children crying when you are expecting adults only. Secondly, the hotel says in the literature that reserving of sun beds is not allowed and they would " liberate any unattended bed after 30 minutes ". Sadly this isn't the case, sunbeds had towels laid on them from early morning and none were "liberated"
I like the relax and chill vibe, the hotel design is very cool, so as staff and guests. Roof top gym and yoga classes were great, i feel fit after the stay.
The walking up hill in hot day is not funny with a big suitcase

The styling and touches of this hotel are amazing, it is my second visit there in as many years. The restaurant is also gorgeous and the cocktail bar with very special views. All the staff very attentive and fun to chat to.
They need music around the pool for bit more atmosphere and more parasols

La vista desde la terraza y la piscina me han gustado. También valoro la posibilidad de tener agua potable sin pagar y de poder disfrutar de la piscina después del checkout.
La piscina cierra demasiado temprano por la tarde. Además la puerta entre la planta 0 y el jardín siempre está abierta, aunque el interior esté climatizado.
View from the pool and dining terrace is outstanding
Quality not what expected with the price
Visually the hotel is lovely, with a stunning view and everything was very clean. Unfortunately the service really let the hotel down and for a 5 star hotel we were extremely disappointed with our experience.
We paid for a Bayside Plus room, with the “Plus” meaning a room with a view. When we finally checked into our room, around four hours after the rest of our party, there was no view at all. We went to reception to check we had been given the correct room and were told we had received what we booked.
I read them the description directly from the website which clearly stated that the Plus room included a view. I was met with a blank expression, no explanation and no real attempt to help.
We were then told they could potentially move us and to come back in 40 minutes. When we returned we were met with more hostility and raised voices and told they needed more time. We eventually asked to speak to a manager and within 2 minutes we were in a room with the view we had paid for. It seemed so simple and made us wonder why it had been made so difficult in the first place.
The website also states that one of the benefits of booking directly is that, subject to availability, you may receive an upgrade. This definitely wasn’t our experience. We actually had to fight to get a room that matched the description of what we had booked.
Unfortunately this level of service continued throughout our stay. Almost everything we asked for was met with hostility and it seemed like “no” was the default answer. This was especially disappointing as we spent a lot of money at the bars and restaurants during our stay.
Our experience in the restaurant was particularly bad. For example, we asked for a light for our table as there were lights on every other table and we could barely see our food. The waitress was extremely rude and seemed distracted and irritated by us. We also couldn’t order the drinks we wanted, despite them being nothing complicated.
I have never experienced such poor service at a 5 star hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a stunning setting, but the service completely ruined our experience. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it.
