Pros:

We stayed here 3 nights and loved it. The garden and river behind the property is absolutely magical. Leo and his family are excellent hosts the night walk included with more than 2 nights was a highlight of our stay. Kids loved the pool so much. Night hike was a highlight of our trip. Also loved the luxury of king size beds.

Excellent, comfortable stay
Pros:

The staff are fantastic. All of them, however, especially the owner. It is clean, comfortable and it is the little, thoughtful touches that make all the difference to the stay. You feel very looked after.

Perfect choice
Pros:

Very spacious room with a parking just beside the rooms.
Leo was very polite and friendly and we enjoyed the night walk.Great location for breakfast and very nice tasty breakfast.Just 5 minutes from La Fortuna .

La atención de Leonardo y de Mairene. Han estado pendientes de todo. La caminata nocturna con Leonardo por los jardines es maravillosa. Vimos muchas ranas preciosas. Se nota el cariño que le pone al lugar. La cocina era muy completa, con todos los electrodomésticos. También te hacen la colada por muy buen precio. El apartamento es muy cómodo. Las camas estupendas.

Cons:

Todo estuvo bien. Si acaso las cortinas, pero nos dijo que las iban a cambiar.

Queremos destacar especialmente la amabilidad y el trato de Mairene, que estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento. Nos hizo sentir como en casa. Como hacía muy mal tiempo, pasamos bastante tiempo hablando con ella y nos contó muchísimas cosas sobre costa Rica, además de recomendarnos lugares que visitar. Fue encantadora y se notaba que disfruta mucho ayudando a los huéspedes.
También queremos agradecer a Leonardo, el gerente, que nos hizo un tour nocturno increíble. Nos explicó muchísimas cosas sobre las ranas y los sapos, y tuvimos la suerte de ver varios, entre ellos la famosa rana de ojos rojos, una de las más conocidas de Costa Rica. Se nota muchísimo el cariño, respeto y pasión que siente por los animales, y eso hizo que el tour fuera todavía más especial.
Además, Leonardo nos preparó el desayuno y estaba riquísimo.
Gracias a todo el equipo por la atención y por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera tan especial. Sin duda, personas como Mairene y Leonardo hacen que la experiencia sea mucho más que simplemente alojarse en un hotel. ❤️

Pros:

The hotel was lovely with a great jungle garden out the back that the kids loved. The room was spacious and had three large beds which worked really well for our family. It was very wet when we were due to do our jungle walk but the owner very kindly brought us for a small walk to show cool frogs the following night. The staff were great and breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

The room itself was slightly more basic than I was expecting. It was very clean so nothing negative but just a little more basic. There was a pile of gravel beside the breakfast area that, if spread out, would have helped the look of that area. I had thought we might be able to walk to town but really the car was necessary which was fine.

Estancia genial!
Pros:

Un hotel familiar con mucho encanto.
Las habitaciones son casitas individuales con espacio para 6 personas y con parking justo al lado de la casa.
Bien equipadas para comer o cenar.
Piscina y un jardín precioso donde por las noche puedes hacer un pequeño recorrido guiado para ver diferentes tipos de animales.
El desayuno casero muy completo y muy bueno.
El personal muy amable y atento.
Hemos estado muy cómodos. 100% recomendable

Personnel au top, très investi.
La visite des jardins de l'arrière de l'hôtel a la recherche de grenouilles était géniale et enrichissante.
L'emplacement idéal, à quelques minutes en voiture du centre de la fortuna et d'autres activités.
Proches des sources d'eau chaude, des principales attractions (rando 1968, mistico, centre ville, cascades).
L'hôtel était d'une propreté irréprochable!!!!!

Fiendly family run hotel - night walk a highlight
Pros:

Excellent friendly host. Great free night garden tour- saw lots of different frogs. Room spacious clean and comfortable. Breakfast good (set menu).

On edge of town - not easily walkable, but easy and cheap uber ride.
