Fantastic location, excellent staff, and a beautiful historic hotel.
Pros:

Hotel Birks is a beautiful historic boutique hotel in a fantastic location. We could easily walk to Old Montreal and explore the rest of downtown, and the hotel is close to excellent shopping and the subway. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was huge, and the shower pressure was excellent (that’s something I always look for but often don’t get in even the nicest hotels).

The staff was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive, and we enjoyed spending time at the bar on two evenings. (The drinks are pricey, but that felt reasonable for such a lovely property.)

I found a great rate through Booking.com and thought the hotel offered very good value.

Cons:

We had a very positive stay and no real complaints. We’ll be return customers!

Pros:

Cons:

I didn’t enjoy the very loud music in the bar on one of the nights. I think this is very common in North America though. Why?

Pros:

Great location nice hotel and restaurant.

Cons:

Bad room view. Couldn’t even look at the sky. We were given one small body wash and shampoo. Asked for more and they threw them on the bathroom counter

Cozy stay & amazing location
Pros:

The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious as well. The staff were very supportive. The location is amazing.

Cons:

2 small things first was that the mini bar services needed improvement in general. When I ask for tea at night for example it wouldn’t come in original packing for some reason and I always had to call and ask for more water also when I asked them to heat up food for me it would take a long time. Second was that service was not so fast in general and I think I could expect some more luxury with a 5 star hotel

Very good.
Cons:

Odd - there was coffee but no coffee cups. Also the room was cleaned by one person and then another person later replaced the coffee pods and bottled water. Why not have one person do both. Strange.
