Très Bien mais très décevant pour le spa
Pros:

Très bel établissement, très bien placé , service très bien dans l’ensemble

Cons:

L’établissement annonce un spa alors qu’il n’y en a pas , très décevant et même plutôt trompeur pour le client . J’en ai parlé aux responsables… un 5 étoiles doit avoir ce genre d’offre pour être complet et compétitif.

Could be a great hotel if they dramatically improved the service
Pros:

Beautiful old building, well renovated, clean, booked a deluxe room which was very nice.

Cons:

Service was consistently awful - tried breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant and it was way below the quality and service you’d expect for the prices being charged, which are inflated to put it mildly - $70 for eggs, some fruit, coffee and an OJ for breakfast! On top of this, it was made very clear that a tip was expected. Just a bizarre experience. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable, great value, in the core of downtown Montreal
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, on the main shopping street of Montreal. Large room, comfy beds. Hotel is in an old building and has a good vibe. Bar/lounge and restaurant looks great. Food at breakfast was excellent. For the price, I prefer this hotel over many other "high end" hotel in the core downtown. Staff at reception were exceptionally nice and welcoming.

Cons:

The only negative is the serving staff at breakfast. Long faces, not engaging at all. Felt they did not want to be there. Also, who charges $5.50 for a very small cup of coffee and do not offer refills? $11 for two small cups of coffee is ridiculous. This hotel would be a 10 with a nicer breakfast ambiance. Compared to other high-end hotels in Montreal, the breakfast offering brings it down one notch. Easy fix in my view since the rest is awesome, including the food.
