The spa facilities, Brasserie and all the staff through the whole hotel and spa were excellent: Nothing was too much trouble.
The only thing that could enhance the almost perfect stag would be access to laundry facilities. Otherwise it was perfect!
Location great, grounds lovely to walk. Bed comfortable and everything worked.
Place seems a bit stuck in a time warp, dated and in need of a facelift to be so much better, it could be fabulous.
Restaurant and food ok but little imagination or quality. Breakfast not up to 4 star, minimal and boring.

Not enough fruit in the breakfast buffet. Was not replenished. Not many yoghurt flavours.
There was a rat on the balcony outside the breakfast area- the door was closed.

We had a bit of electrical issue in our room. When we returned back from late night dinner, our room did not have any electricity.
The night staff attended but could not resolve.
He offered us alternative room. The initial rooms offered were not lake facing room but the he found one next door to our original room lake facing.
Since we had booked lake facing room which is higher charge we should have been offered that one first.
But it got sorted reasonably in good time.
View & grounds were beautiful. Perfect for the wedding venue.
No fridge in the room. We such hot weather water needed to be in the fridge. Bar to busy to serve drinks in correct glasses had to find a dirty glass. Which was run under tap given back to me wet.!!! 4*
The rooms were spacious and comfortable .
The breakfast was very nice.
I wouldn’t say I didn’t like but the food was ok but not the best part of our stay.
Really poor wifi.. dropped all the time. Nice room. Tho a stretch to say lake view.. children running past window so no privacy. Tables not cleared outside.. really a bit tired outside, hard worn tables and chairs, when there were chairs on the outside jetty overlooking the lake!! Lovely position just needs attention to detail for 4 stars.

Breakfast was good but only one type of eggs which was scrambled and not very nice , had a evening meal which was overpriced and not very nice , so we didn’t eat in hotel after that
