A first rate hotel in a great location with extremely helpful staff
Pros:

Wonderful location with excellent views and very comfy beds.
All the staff went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs

Hmm .. good and bad
Pros:

The staff were helpful and very friendly and the buffet breakfast was excellent quality.

But the hotel was very tired and worn. When opening the windows I found dust and debris that had obviously been there a while the chairs had stains on them which did not portray a good picture. The biggest problem was the lighting in the bathroom. The wall lights had warm coloured bulbs and the small spotlights in the ceiling were not bright enough for my husband to shave or for me to put makeup on. An easy change to improve.
We were there for a wedding. The seating area at the gazebo was on a slant very uncomfortable and precarious. If you had sat people graduating up the slant would be better and maybe offer those at the back a better view. With the space you have it could be set up better. The chairs were from outside the bar so no one could sit and have a drink before or right after the service. The chairs were rough and worn. In fact a large splinter was pulled from a young boys shorts in front of me. There was no proper audio. So we could not hear music or any of the service. We only knew the couple were married was when the front row cheered. Not one to write home about. But I will say the wedding food was of good great quality, well cooked and served hot.

Organisation seemed to be oriented towards most cost efficient running of the hotel, at times at cost to guest experience, especially in relation to restaurant opening times and choice of offering

Cons:

The restaurant, shrimp cakes tasted like flour and fish and chips smelt off and was told the off smell was fine. Massage was abit overpriced for what it was.
