Value for money but noisy!
Pros:

The hotel was a great location on the high street, The room was clean, comfy beds and value for the price we paid

Cons:

It was extremely noisy - As the rooms is joined to the pub it was very loud until the pub closed as out window backed onto the smoking area. I had read this in the previous reviews so I was expecting it.

So pleased I choose the Douglas Arms to stay at , it was such good value for money .
Pros:

Good value for money , my double bed and bedding so comfortable . A private bathroom with bath /bath shower which so worked and plenty of clean towels and hot water . So would stay here again .

Nothing , it was such good value for money .

prima verblijf voor één nacht op doorreis
Pros:

ontbijt kregen we 's ochtends op de afgesproken tijd in een mandje op de kamer.
Op loopafstand waren gratis parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar.

Cons:

best wel gehorig op vrijdagavond naast een pub. Geluid was om 00.00 uur wel uit, maar daarna bleef het nog lang lawaaiig door stemgeluid van jongeren.

clean rooms and decent value for money but was disappointed with the ‘continental’ type breakfast.
Pros:

Clean room. Nice location in the lovely town of Banchory.

Cons:

Couldn’t close my window fully so there was noise from the bar downstairs.
Breakfast was included but unfortunately this was a ‘continental’ breakfast provided in a basket the night before. This wasn’t detailed during the booking

Für eine Nacht in Ordnung!
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Das Hotel insgesamt, insbesondere das Bad ist sehr einfach und dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück bestand aus vielen einzeln verpackten Snacks. Viel Müll, nichts Gesundes, viele Konservierungsstoffe.

Fun and Comfortable place to stay.
Pros:

The location is great in the center of town. Very fun & lively bar & pizza shop downstairs attached to the hotel. Continental breakfast was a good variety of nice snacks & coffees and teas were also provided.

Cons:

Was a little nervous about Safety/Security as someone could’ve gotten into the hotel hall without a room key. Had to park aways away as there isn’t very close parking near property.

Pros:

Comfy bed, good shower. Well situated for bus to/from Aberdeen. Coffee shops/breakfast close by. Reasonable price.

Cons:

Creakiest floorboards ever in the room next door; works going on outside from 7.45am. Continental breakfast delivered to the door was plentiful but very limited in terms of fresh, healthy items.
