Fun and Comfortable place to stay.
Pros:

The location is great in the center of town. Very fun & lively bar & pizza shop downstairs attached to the hotel. Continental breakfast was a good variety of nice snacks & coffees and teas were also provided.

Cons:

Was a little nervous about Safety/Security as someone could’ve gotten into the hotel hall without a room key. Had to park aways away as there isn’t very close parking near property.

Basic but OK
Pros:

Comfy bed, good shower. Well situated for bus to/from Aberdeen. Coffee shops/breakfast close by. Reasonable price.

Cons:

Creakiest floorboards ever in the room next door; works going on outside from 7.45am. Continental breakfast delivered to the door was plentiful but very limited in terms of fresh, healthy items.

I was visiting relatives nearby so it suited me. I only slept there. I did not need breakfast. Bus stop in front of hote

Not a hotel more like a hostel .Avoid

IThe pub opened till 1am which would of been fine but due to the weather everyone was out in a very small courtyard .The noise level was terrible screaming and shouting till 1am.
Usually if Ive stayed in a pub at l1lpm ish outside areas are closed due to consideration of locals and guests.Once the customers left there was a extractor fan on the flat roof all night below the rooms .I booked forc3 nights but left after 2.It was definitely on the standard of a hostel rather than a hotel.There was no info on menus or if there was break fast or time.Very poor.
BANCHORY itself was lovely and the locals cafes and restraunts and shops were a delight and I would love to spend time more time in the area.

Found The Stag Hotel on Booking.com and was impressed with its low prices and convenient location in Banchory.

Found the rooms to be very clean and pleasant. The bathrooms and shower were also modern and clean. They even provide a TV in the room, which is nice to watch.

Furthermore, you can walk downstairs and order pizza from Big Manny’s. Really good pizza.

Cons:

My only complaint - as the pub opens quite late, it stayed very loud until around 12:30 to 1am both nights of our stay. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night and struggled to fall asleep before 1am.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, und der Pub ist großartig.

Cons:

Eigentlich ist das Hotel ein Pub, der sehr schön ist, der Hotelbetrieb wirkt etwas lieblos, die Zimmer sind nicht sauber und das Frühstück einfach vor die Tür gestellt. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen obwohl es so zentral gelegen ist.
Es gibt keine Parkplätze für Hotelgäste

The staff were excellent and helpful

Cons:

Shower in room 7 was no good, it leaked at one of the connections and the shower head holder was not designed for the shower head so it would not stay in so had to shower holding the head with one hand.
