Comfy bed and great location staff were friendly

Well appointed luxury hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Great location. Recent refurbishment. Perfect lighting in the room. Excellent breakfast

Cons:

Problem with air conditioning (water dripping from the ceiling) Staff did their best to sort and gave us bottle of champagne and cleared our bar bill which was a nice gesture. (Aircon kept working throughout and drip wasn’t above bed.)
Didn’t spoil our stay which was very pleasant

Comfortable, and beautifully furnished rooms.
Pros:

The weather was great, which made the outdoor areas even nicer

Cons:

The small bottles of milk in the fridge tasted long-life, acidic and nasty. Give me normal milk satchets anytime!

Elegant hotel with wonderful views!
Pros:

A very elegant hotel in a wonderful location! Our room was beautiful with views of the estuary. Gorgeous breakfast and dinner.

Lovely time in lovely Dartmouth
Pros:

All staff well trained and helpful. Breakfast good, except for coffee.

Cons:

That we could not get a meal or bar snack on either Saturday or Sunday. Booking for a table when a guest in a hotel seems unnecessary to us and because we did not we went hungry or went out!

Perfect comfortable location with parking
Pros:

Great location with parking. Lovely room which was extremely comfortable. Wonderful breakfast and helpful, friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights as we were taking part in the Dart 10K - had the perfect weekend away from London.

Cons:

Suggest booking in advance for evening meal either in the hotel restaurant or in town as that is a really short walk. Most places stop serving food by 9pm so remember to get out early. We were late as we over self after finishing the Dart 10K.

Wonderful stay, quite pricey but worth it for a special treat
Pros:

Beautifully situated on the river dart. Could not ask for more from a totally relaxing break, loved it so much decided to stay an extra night. No need to use the car as plenty to do and see without driving.

Lovely break but wish we’d stayed longer!!
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant one evening and both the food and service were great.
The hotel location is perfect for an easy stroll to the town centre and various ferries/river taxis. And it was a bonus to have parking outside! We will definitely stay here again!
