Ontspannen verblijf met vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

Het personeel was altijd vriendelijk, behulpzaam en vrolijk! Ook voor onze dochter deden ze heel erg hun best en stond er iedere ochtend een klein ontbijtje klaar. Het ontbijt zelf was a la cart met voldoende keuze, koffie en een sapje.
Het zwembad was een fijne verkoeling en de tuin eromheen is mooi aangelegd.

Cons:

De huisjes zijn helaas erg gehorig en het matras is al een tijdje aan vervanging toe.

Lovely villas
Pros:

villa matiki is a lovely vibe, very cute, lots of lovely personalised touches and a great pool. Staff were also fantastic.

Cons:

If you want a good night sleep I’d consider whether this is the right place to stay. In the bungalows you can hear everything like people are in the room with you. We had a room next to a screaming baby all night which wasn’t ideal. We did ask to change rooms which was accommodated with no issues, however. Given the villa is also nearby the mosque would make sense to sound proof the rooms.

The other thing is that our room didn’t get made up until after 4pm. We would leave by 8am every day to go diving and coming back to an unmade up room which was frustrating after a long day and needing a shower.

Pros:

We loved staying in the private villa.
We particularly enjoyed the layout with the outdoor covered kitchen and the chill out beam bag’s corner, and the big beautiful pool.
The typical indonesian decor is just gorgeous, and the bedrooms are absolutely beautiful with super comfy beds too.
Lots of attention to details everywhere, sun hats, kimonos, sarongs all at your disposal to use during your stay.
All in all, a beautiful place run by a lovely, attentive team.

Would highly recommend to anyone.
Pros:

You have access to a private pool, with a lovely baruga to chill in when not in the pool. The Breakfast was fresh and a good sized portion. The pressure in the shower was amazing and the hot water was not lacking.

Perfect villa with large garden
Pros:

My stay was fantastic. From welcome to check out - there were so many details that make this place memorable and special. The shower was a highlight!! But the whole garden setting was wonderful. The pool was beautiful and there was a lot of space to lounge or be in the room. The small kitchen was equipped with all we needed and there was even a speaker to use! I will be back!!

Nothing really - 10/10 stay!!

We will be back!
Pros:

We only stayed one night at Gili Matiki, but honestly wished we had booked longer.

Our two boys spent most of their time in the pool and running around the garden, while we enjoyed having a beautiful, comfortable place to relax. The beds were super comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and everything felt fresh and well cared for.

What stood out most was how much thought had gone into the small details. There was a full book of recommendations and helpful information about the island, along with lots of little touches that made the villa feel welcoming rather than just another holiday rental.

Breakfast was also a big hit with the whole family. We left wishing we had another couple of days there, and we'll definitely be back next time we're on Gili Air.

Pros:

Everything was absolutely perfect! The villa is brand new, so everything felt fresh, modern, and beautifully maintained. We were especially touched by all the thoughtful extra amenities we weren’t expecting, like beach bags and sarongs to use during our stay — such a lovely touch.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the villa is located in a peaceful yet convenient area, which meant we slept wonderfully every night. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious each morning.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be returning the next time we visit Gili Air.

We loved our stay at Little Matiki, and we hope we can come back soon!
Pros:

We stayed at the private villa (Little Matiki), and it was the best decision we have made! The villa itself is beautiful, and full of character! Definitely a great option for something a bit different!
The staff are lovely, and we were welcomed with a fresh juice! Much needed because of the heat and humidity!
Loved that they leave a couple of beach bags, hats and "sarongs" for you to use/wear during your stay!
They also provided beach towels, umbrellas, shampoo, body soap and conditioner (which is always a plus while you are travelling)
They have a warung just next door, which is a great option if you are looking for something local and affordable!

Cons:

The bed was quite uncomfortable, looked like it was used many times.
The toilet/shower isn't fully covered (only a roof and a "semi-wall"), so the heat and mosquitoes and bugs come in and out. But at the same time, it gives quite a nice feeling.
The express laundry seemed a bit expensive to us, but was much needed.
