Crowne Plaza London Heathrow T4 by IHG

We booked this hotel direct through the IHG members app for a 2 night stay as a family. We booked the King Suite.
On arrival to Heathrow Terminal 5 it was easy to get to the hotel using the free underground/trains from terminal to terminal that run very frequently. ( only free to get around the terminals)
The tickets are available from the blue ticket machines as you exit terminal (departures floor level)
2 stops in total changing once to get to terminal 4. Lifts then take you to the hotel level and covered walkway to the hotel entrance which is a few minutes walk.
On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and gave us our room keys also explaining about breakfast and the Club Lounge, we also got offered late check out at 2pm.
The King Suite was clean and very spacious, separate living area with sofa bed, coffee table, TV, and a seating area with 2 chairs and a table. A small area off the living area with plenty of wardrobe space, draws and a dressing table. This dressing area led to the bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom also had a TV. The bathroom had a bath and separate waterfall shower.
The room had views of the the aircraft’s as they lifted to take off.
This was great as our visit was taking our 14 year old son to plane spot at different spotting areas around Heathrow Airport.
The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and all of the staff are helpful and friendly. The Destination bar is lovely as is the lobby seating area with a quieter area towards the back.
Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. Hot drinks are brought to your table by the waiting staff.
As we had booked the King Suite we had access to the club lounge. Throughout the day when back at the hotel we would pop in for soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks. Then between 6pm-8pm we were able to have a choice of wine or bottled beer and canapé’s.
A big shout out to the lovely Severina in the Club Lounge, what a lovely friendly lady. She kept the tables clean of any used/empty plates. Always making sure you are ok, asking if you wanted your drink topped up. Also advising when the hot food was being replenished.
Check out was simple with a key card drop off box.
I only returned from my stay yesterday and have already booked for 3 nights in spring 2027 for a trip doing London sightseeing with a bit of plane spotting in between for my son.

It was in a good location at the airport, which was what we wanted. Was very quiet. Nice comfortable bed

Great location. Modern hotel and great staff. Good access to public transport if you would like to go to London. Breakfast was also good.

Mihaela was very friendly and took great care of me! Tea/Coffee Machine, they had wine (maybe other alcohol), but I wasn’t that interested, too tired. Prawn cocktail bowls, and watermelon and feta cold bowls. The also had fresh hot Frito Misto with Salmon and giant shrimp, and a black bean slider for the plant eaters. Nice relaxing music, great vibe, not too crowded around 5 - 10 guests at 8 pm

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza at T4 twice before/after my Canada flights. First time I booked a standard king room which was solid and no complaints and then on the return booked the Club floor which was essentially the same room but with access to the club lounge. They let me check in an hour early (very much appreciated) and happy hour in the lounge from 6-8pm was great - some lovely snacks and good quality wine and beer. Special thanks to Mihaela in the lounge for her excellent service. I would definitely recommend.

Just arrived and so far it's a great location, excellent room, amazing staff.
