The room had everything I needed and the hotel has ample free parking.
The hotel is undergoing extensive works. It was extremely noisy while trying to eat in the restaurant and there was a strong smell of building works. You’d expect a reduction in prices to compensate but this was not offered.
The room wasn’t clean to a good standard and there were lots of hairs in the bathroom. The room was extremely warm and only one small window opened, the other did not have a handle and was therefore locked shut.
Finally, there were several issues with breakfast. The breakfast room was not ready for service start time and I felt like a huge inconvenience to the male waiter. Items were not ready. He was more interested in gossiping with the kitchen staff than actually paying attention and serving guests. Another guest walked out without waiting for food. Very disappointing experience.
Pleasant room, comfortable bed.
Sadly workmen were still working at 7pm on a Friday. We appreciate this was temporary and they stopped when we asked.
Couldn't fault anything, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean, food was great. I would recommend and stay here again.

It was in an ideal position for the places we wanted to go.
My only problem was there was no hot water
staff were great, very friendly
bedroom walls thin, no hot water on our sat night/ sun morning -reported to the breakfast server. wish we'd been informed that they were doing up the bar area. we left a
day early as noisy place at night and we needed sleep.
The receptionist was very helpful and professional.
My room, my bed was clean and enough for my needs
No hot or even warm water in the shower which also applied at the sink. When I tried to inform reception in the morning, it seemed unmanned, or at least no one answered the bell. Morning coffee was at best watery.
A broken toilet paper holder, or at best, one not secured to the wall properly.
The cooked breakfast was okay.
Smooth and easy check in, comfortable and exceptionally clean room with good bathroom. Location within easy walking distance to town centre, harbour and transport links.
Disappointed that only a temporary bar in place as refurbishment taking place. Hot water a little hit and miss.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty, though we had to wait a while (we suspect there weren’t enough kitchen staff for the number of guests). The staff make the place.
They are going through a refurb which limited space for drinking. Bar closed quite early on the Sunday.
