Urgoo hotel

The facilities are a little dated and haven't been maintained very well. Water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. Hot water handle spun on the sink. Shower door askew and won't seal. Bath tub had a big crack. Safe- locked when I got there, so of no use.

I only have minor concerns and suggestions - on the whole the Urgoo was excellent and I would happily stay there again on my next trip to Mongolia.

(1) The shower head was not adjustable in position, which made taking a shower less enjoyable (this was true of all three rooms I stayed in during my five days at Hotel Urgoo). I suggest a simple modification of the shower stall wall holder for the shower head to be adjustable and allow it to change angle
(2) There was no salt or pepper on the tables in the restaurant
(3) There was no use of a hotel card for street entry to the hotel - which meant that there was free access from the street which was of some concern since there are many pickpockets in Ulaanbataar. The hotel card key was only for the room, not the hotel itself. This was a concern since sometimes there was no one at the reception desk.

Shower not so good - very weak stream and not enough hot water for a full shower
Room feels old and the maintenance not very good, balcony door was broken (they fixed it)
Could be cleaner
Pricey for what you get

My initial room was good but the shower head was missing and as I needed to shower and head out I changed room. The room had identical layout but was very poorly maintained, with ripped and holey bedding, cigarette burns in furniture, broken bidet and sellotaped shower head with very poorly maintained pressure and damaged marked bath.

The rooms were quite old and dated. The bed was not particularly comfortable but it sufficed for one night. The shower was inoperable because there was no shower head installed, it was just an open pipe. So, I decided to just birdbath it in the tub, but the water never really got warm. When I mentioned this at the front desk, staff just kind of shrugged her shoulders an ignored me. She was more concerned about vacuuming her immediate area and trying on clothes from the adjacent boutique. Also, I had to tinker a bit with the loose wiring to get the in-room Wi-Fi router to start working. It was all a bit janky.

The staff could speak better English.

It needs to be freshened up, door of the toilet did not close from the outside, the bath tub was rusty, most sockets did not fit the plugs, some did not work.

夜中にチェックインしましたが、なぜかチェックインの時に全額払えと言われました。とりあえず払いましたが、他の欧米人観光客はそうではなかったように思います。
愛想の良いスタッフとそうでない人の差がある。
４泊しましたが、残念ながら最終日は掃除されてなかった。

Not very clean overall. Lots of things did not work or were broken. the door on the balcony would not lock, some outlets had no power, lights didn’t turn on or were missing bulbs, bathroom fans did not work, the shower handles fell off.
