Bed wasn't comfortable. Couldn't sleep. Also the noise from the bar area traveled through the vent in the bathroom and could here people talking all night.
Hotel Zachary is definitely 5 star! It’s for those wanting to be greeted with a friendly face and welcoming atmosphere! Definitely recommend and worth the extra it costs per night!
The hotel was perfect! The decor was unique (base ball themed) and tasteful. My room faced Wrigley field. It was pristine and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The Hotel is beautiful and the location is amazing - especially to go to a Cubs game and stop by the various stores / bars near the stadium. The room was of high quality and spacious. Yes, it is more expensive than other options - but staying here is well worth the money. Definitely coming back here in the future!
From the very moment we arrived at the Front Door of the Hotel Zachery we were made to feel special. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly, polite, helpful and courteous. A couple of special requests we had during our stay were met with quick responses by the staff. This was not our first stay at the Hotel Zachery but very well may be our only go to hotel any time in the future that we visit Chicago.
I recently stayed one night at Hotel Zachary and had an outstanding experience from beginning to end. The entire staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive, and the hotel itself has such a unique blend of modern comfort and historic charm.
My stay also included attending a business meeting in their Library space, and it was absolutely perfect for the occasion. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, the setup was seamless, and everything was handled with great attention to detail. It created a professional environment while still feeling warm and inviting.
The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable, and the overall energy of the hotel made the experience even better. Whether for business or leisure, I would highly recommend Hotel Zachary to anyone visiting Chicago. I’ll definitely stay there again.
Love it! Perfect location. Outstanding staff and food. Perfect location for a weekend date night.
The Hotel Zachary, Chicago was a top notch stay from the valet parking to a delicious breakfast at Alma. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Lots of smiles all the way around. I felt like I was a treasure not a nuisance. The fact that after a late game I could just walk across the street and through the doors of the hotel and wind down in the luxury of my room with a view of the ballpark was priceless. The room afforded an excellent view of the iconic Wrigley Field. Thank you to the staff and kudos. I hope to visit again.
Loved the free coffee and tea until 3pm.
The bar on 2nd floor by the lobby was enjoyable for a quick drink and appetizer.
Comfortable setting and overlooked Wrigley field.
They offered a upgrade without us asking :)
Room doors closed loudly. Noticed in early morning hours the most.

I bought my husband a wooden board with MLB stadiums for Christmas, and tickets to Wrigley as the first token to fill in on the board. I splurged on the Zachary to make it a full experience.
It was perfect. It's a bit of a pain to Uber in to downtown on the non-game days, but the totally immersive game-day experience made it worth it. We were able to walk out of the game and across the street to our hotel. And spent game day walking around Wrigleyville just by stepping out the front door of the hotel. Lovely.
Do not miss the Alma. The terrace view is great for a pre-game drink and crowd watching. And they have one of the best old-fashioneds I've ever tried. Do not miss the Zachary Old Fashioned if you're a whiskey drinker!
It's not cheap, and we didn't use most of the hotel amenities. But well worth it regardless for the experience.
I did not attend, but I planned a corporate meeting at the Hotel Zachary and everything from start to finish was handled professionally and efficiently. My boss even called me when he got there just to say what a great place this was! He usually only calls when there is an issue, so this was very nice to hear. We would definitely use this hotel again!
Great hotel, so convenient if going to a Cubs game. Enjoyed the bar, Alma. Rooms were beautiful and quiet. Parking garage is tight, would recommend using Valet.
Hotel Zachary went above and beyond to accommodate a recent family wedding. The rooms and views were beautiful and the staff made it seamless
