Pros:

Our 2nd stay. Lovely comfortable room and en-suite. Everything we needed and a lovely environment. Restaurant and bar had good service and food. Staff went the extra mile to make the evening.

Cons:

Not a didn't like, but would be nice if they were able to put up some sound reducing fencing for the front external patio area. You could hear the traffic from the main road which slightly spoils the amazing effort they have put into the comfortable and relaxed setting. We would definitely stay again.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

Cons:

We didn’t feel the room rate was good value. It was very small as was the bathroom. At £500+ for two nights that was not vfm.

A relaxing, indulgent but expensive break.
Pros:

Great restaurant, good menu with plenty of choice for breakfast. The room was comfortable and facilities great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The poached eggs were over cooked and overall the price of the room and breakfast was very expensive.
There were limited choices on Saturday evening menus but the food was good. Gratuities were added to everything when the final bill was presented and not just at 10%! The hotel is situated on a very busy, noisy road which makes entry and exit difficult (it was quieter overnight thankfully). Overall it is very expensive for what you get.

Crouchers is in a good location, the food is good and the staff are friendly and welcoming but the place itself is looki
Pros:

Staff were friendly and especially breakfast staff, both girls were friendly and efficient. The proximity to the local areas is good

Cons:

The property is tired, and in need of refurbishment: we have stayed in a few occasions over the years and nothing has changed! The sink in our room leaked, the pillows were unusable and we had to request new ones (which they did very efficiently) the tv was very basic etc

Pros:

The Garden room was clean and well presented with a pleasant outlook via double doors onto fields.
The breakfast was a bit mixed. Very good dining area. I had bacon and eggs which came with 1 rasher of bacon and 1 egg my wife had poached eggs which had hard yokes had to request toast so not great

Cons:

There appeared to be people walking about above our room for most of the night kept my wife awake

Lovely hotel, good value for money, great for dogs, will return
Pros:

Great sized room, lovely grounds to walk around, restaurant and bar friendly, great food and enjoyable. Hose available to clean dog after coming back from the beach/sea, which was perfect! Great walks nearby, lovely pubs. Great to be situated between Chichester and the Witterings, to access both locations.

Cons:

Hotel is a little older and bathroom was a little dated. Nice rainfall shower head, weak water pressure. August traffic is very busy, spoke to hotel reception about going to beach without driving, they told me it would be unsafe walking by the road - which was great advice. Did not tell me about the bus or the Salterns Way, (pathway from Chichester to West Wittering) which goes along the coast. Both of these suggestions would have been very helpful had they been provided.

Pleasant but far from wow. Nice staff. Easy parking.
Pros:

Warm greeting at reception and the barman was very helpful. Easy parking important to me.

Cons:

Was shocked by the grubby old carpet on the stairs to the room, felt a real lack of attention to detail in not replacing that. The room was a good size but swelteringly hot having been shut up, the windows were opened for me and I found a good size fan. With the windows open you could hear all the drinkers below, little disconcerting but it did not go on late. Minor changes could make this place great although it is on a busy road.

Pros:

For us the location was convenient for visiting Braclesham, Early, The Witterings, Birdham. It was clean and comfortable and our dog was allowed.

Cons:

We booked a dog friendly room through Booking.com and when we arrived the manager was argumentative that we'd booked the wrong room, saying that we should have booked directly and not used Booking.com. But they use Booking.com. It's never what you say in life but how you say it and we were at the point of telling him to stick his hotel because of how he said it.

Very pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Excellent dinner.
Pros:

I ate dinner at the main Potager restaurant and the food was excellent and not over-priced. I had a very tasty sea bass with a delicious corn side dish.

Cons:

The room was fine but the decor is a bit tired. The shower was powerful but the tiles look a little old. The bed was very comfortable.
There is quite a bit of traffic noise from the road nearby although it did quieten down late at night so I could sleep well.

Étape confortable dans un très beau lieu par ses espaces intérieurs et extérieurs.
Pros:

L’emplacement un peu à l’écart. Les espaces verts et jardin environnants. La deco intérieure très réussie. La qualité du service. Excellent petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Chambre un peu exiguë. Dîner correct mais un peu décevant.
