The room was spacious and very clean with doors which opened onto the field behind the hotel with a table and 2 chairs outside the room.
The breakfast choice was good and we had the full English which was excellent and all the staff were lovely.
The hotel was delightful, the room was lovely and clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpul and very accomodating. The restaurant was brilliant and the food delicious and accomodating of any dietary needs. It was the perfect stay and a perfect location for our travels. The surrounding area was beautiful and the hotel was perfectly situated. It seemed set up lovely for couples and for those without children which suited us perfectly. Would highly recommend it was an absolute gem of a find!

The room (No.1) was clean and comfortable and the Italian restaurant (5 min walk away) was really good. The setting of the property is very pleasant with field views. Easy to access from Chichester by car and free on site parking.
Overall the place feels dated and service throughout was fairly poor. It felt like everyone working there was tired of the place and hated their jobs. No effort to interact or welcome guests, very perfunctory. The team working in the restaurant and bar area were happier talking to one another.
We stayed in Room 1 and the noise from the room above was absolutely awful. It wasn’t due to the guests being noisy themselves, just terrible construction and insulation of the building. You could hear every world they were saying and when they were just walking around it felt like the roof was going to cave in. If they ran a tap or flushed the toilet the noise was ridiculous. Would not recommend staying in a garden room.

Great location with local bus links to Chichester. Nice walk from the hotel to Chichester Marina. Lovely restaurants - we ate at both the pizza restaurant and the main hotel restaurant. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfasts with good choices. Comfortable room with everything you could need.

Sauberes Zimmer, verkehrsgünstige Lage
Zimmer unterm Dach und Ausblick aufs Dach und den Innenhof. In der Buchungsbestätigung war von garden view die Rede. Buchungsangaben stimmten nicht mit der Realität überein. Dafür war der Preis mit 225 € für die Übernachtung entschieden zu hoch.

Hoteleigenes Restaurant Orchards: hat unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt: durchaus teurer Hauptgang mit Lammfleisch minderer Qualität, das teilweise roh war. Die Kellnerin hat die Reklamation diesbezüglich sehr unflexibel und unfreundlich gemanagt.
