Nice hotel, great stuff, but might not be ideal for the families (at least not in June)
Pros:

Overall, shared area facilities and hotel conditions were very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful (10 points). Nice swimming pools, good bar area. Located in a quiet are of Malia but still in walkable distance to the city centre (10-15 min). Decent food and drinks.

Cons:

Shower was tiny and what we all hated was that there was no shower cabin just a shower curtain. I don't know anyone who likes being wrapped in a curtain while showering (and it was happening continuously), so we ended up completely opening the curtain and we let the water splash on the tails and go to the drain in the middle of the bathroom.
Also, kitchen is seriously lacking. It has like one piece of a cutlery and one deep and one flat plate per person. Glasses are tiny, so it's hard to drink a beer or a cocktail out of it (I assume it is intentional to use their bar service). Small kettle and table top stove, making even a scrambled eggs was a challenge. No washing-up liquid/sponges or towels and no area to dry the washed up plates glasses. Definitely a NO for anyone who thinks of cooking any sort of meals (porridge/scrambled eggs/sandwich is a max you can do), again I assume it is intentional to use their restaurant.

One last thing (and I don't say it as a complaint but rather as a warning because it could have made a difference to us - family holiday - and we were not aware of that, maybe should have read more reviews) is the crowd. Around 80% of the people at the hotel are 18-25 year olds that come to Malia to party hard for a few days (we stayed here mid June), you can find 3 or 4 elderly couples and 2 or 3 families with children but vast majority is youngsters trying to have fun.
I don't mean by that that there is a loud music or shouting at 03:00 a.m., management has it well under control, and any noises are quickly hashed out. What I am trying to say is that if you are a family, although the hotel has all the facilities that family might need (apart from the kitchen) company of youngsters might not be what you are after.

Szép szálloda, csalódást keltő recepció
Pros:

A szálloda maga szép, rendezett és tiszta volt, a medence és a környezet is kellemes, így az első benyomás kifejezetten pozitív volt. Kár, hogy ezt a recepción szerzett tapasztalatok jelentősen lerontották.

Cons:

Légkondicionált szobát foglaltunk, amit a visszaigazoló e-mail is egyértelműen tartalmazott. Ennek ellenére a recepción közölték, hogy a légkondi külön fizetős szolgáltatás, 50 € felár ellenében. Hiába mutattuk meg a foglalás visszaigazolását, ez senkit sem érdekelt.
Összesen három szobát foglaltunk, majd később még egy plusz éjszakát is. Előre egyeztettük, hogy a hosszabbítás miatt két szobából át kell majd költözni, ezt tudomásul vettük.Azt viszont már nehezebb volt megérteni, hogy a gyakorlatban ez úgy nézett ki, hogy az egyik társaság maradt a helyén, a másik beköltözött a mi korábbi szobánkba, mi pedig kaptunk egy teljesen másik szobát. Olyan érzésünk volt, mintha valaki egy kalapból húzta volna ki, ki melyik szobába kerüljön, csak hogy mindenki biztosan pakolhasson még egyet a nyaralása közepén.
Külön érdekesség, hogy az a szoba, amelyből nem kellett kiköltözni és aki a mi volt szobánkba költözött végül megkapták a légkondit minden külön díj nélkül. Nálunk viszont továbbra is fizetős szolgáltatásnak számított. Erre azt a magyarázatot kaptuk, hogy a mi szobánk „irodán keresztül” lett foglalva. Ez azért volt meglepő, mert az összes szobát ugyanazon a Booking-fiókon keresztül foglaltuk.
A költözés közben az erkélyen maradt a vízicipőm. Még aznap este jeleztem a recepción, de természetesen nem került elő. Lehet, hogy véletlen, de a recepción tapasztalt hozzáállás után ezen már nem is lepődtünk meg.
Természetesen csak a saját tapasztalatunkról tudunk beszámolni, de sajnos végig azt éreztük, hogy velünk nem igazán foglalkoztak. Emiatt az volt a benyomásunk, hogy nem minden vendéget kezelnek ugyanúgy, és velünk szemben egyértelműen kevésbé voltak segítőkészek.
Külön érdekesség, hogy az 50 €-ért kínált légkondicionálásról semmilyen nyugtát vagy bizonylatot nem kaptunk.
Összességében a szálloda épülete és környezete rendben van, de a recepción tapasztalt hozzáállás és a következetlen szabályok miatt sajnos nem tudjuk jó szívvel ajánlani.

Alles bestens- ich komme gerne wieder
Pros:

Unkompliziert und gute Abwicklung. Sehr nettes Personal,Handtücher etc wurden alle 2 Tage gewechselt. Ruhig ( ok, es war Oktober) und schöne Aussichten zum Pool oder zu den Bergen.
In der Küche war alles da,was man braucht.

Cons:

Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen,am Pool durfte man nicht Getränke oder etwas kleines zu essen mitbringen, aber ok.
