Great property let down by road noise and lack of breakfast.
Pros:

Valet staff superb, cafe great... when its open.

Cons:

Road noise is horrendous almost all night. No sit down breakfast is unbelievable, wouldn't book again purely from that - instead its a stand up queue for tacos and a stand up queue for coffee. Room service didn't refill coffee pods 2 days straight. Shower needs to be on max to be luke warm, hot is impossible. Gym is ok... but for the space could be better equipped.

Stay for the design vibes and noise that comes with it. Avoid if you need sleep

Super central location great for getting around downtown and surrounds quickly. Staff around the hotel were friendly

Cons:

The check in service was disappointing, poor quality from the reception team who did not make me feel welcome. The noise was horrendous throughout the night, the propety is dated so you hear the heavy engine, emergency services and traffic right below on the massive junction as well as from outside the room door in the hallway. There is no kettle in the bedroom so if you drink tea, you don’t have this as an amenity.

I will avoid selecting The Line if I am returning to Austin.
Pros:

Room space, location

Cons:

Amenities were disappointing, with dirty and damaged furniture. The painted walls need maintenance. For my first visit to Austin, I wasn't pleased to stay in a hotel under these conditions, especially since I could stay at well-known hotels nearby for a price similar to The Line.
Also, the employee in the lobby who assisted with check-in seemed a bit frustrated for external reasons and wasn't very welcoming. Again, first impressions count a lot, especially for first-time visitors.

Pros:

The location is fantastic and having a coffee shop and Veracruz Tacos in the hotel was a bonus. The swimming pool was fun. Being so close to the bat bridge is also a cool novelty.

Cons:

The rooms can be more soundproof, we could hear people in rooms across the hallway and also constantly had the music from the swimming pool (7am - 10pm) in our room.

Perfect location and vibe!
Pros:

Beautifully appointed room along the water with a view to downtown. Super comfy bed. Loved the bathroom and shower. To me a five star stay. Can’t recommend highly enough.

July 4th Weekend Getaway
Pros:

First time stayed at the LINE Austin and was a staycation over the July 4th weekend. We attended a July 4th Creole Surf Riot party (Excellent food and drinks) where had a great view of Congress Ave Bridge and the fireworks but also had a view of the fireworks from our room window. This hotel was very modern and has great eateries on the ground floor along with a great coffee shop.

It is also very dog friendly and being on the Hike & Bike Trail there is some grass behind git and lots of it across Congress Ave but beware of homeless people. Many guests had their dogs with them. Easy to get on the trail and walk along Lady Bird Lake. Our hotel room was large and very clean. Everything worked fine but beware the hot water is scolding hot and the TV did quiet work where could not change channels. Luckily was stuck on the FOX channel showing the FIFA World Cup. We had a great view of the Congress Bridge but saw no bats. With the bed being so low our small dog was able to jump on and off the bed, and this hotel provided a pet blanket and two large bowls. The parking valet went smooth without any issues.

Overall this was a luxury hotel where the guests are treated nicely and perfect for a downtown Austin getaway.

Great Location & Staff.
Pros:

We stayed at The LINE Austin for one night to celebrate our anniversary, and overall we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, Valet was quick to greet us and get us in the right direction to check in. Peyton at the front desk made us feel welcomed with a friendly attitude and excellent service. The check-in process was smooth, and our waterfront room was the perfect romantic touch for our special occasion.

After settling into our room, we discovered the Apple TV wasn't working. We called the front desk, and someone came up almost immediately to fix it, which we really appreciated. The quick response and great customer service made a big difference.

The only minor downsides were that the room only had one robe instead of two, and the clothing steamer wasn't working, which made it a little difficult to get our outfits ready for date night.

Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend The LINE Austin for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in downtown Austin close to everything & lady bird lake. The beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, and attentive staff made our anniversary celebration memorable.
