The front desk was amazing. We got there early. Fully booked hotel and were able to check us in early. Its about a 10-15 minute walk to penn station. We eat at their restaurant but got to see it and it looks nice. The bathroom are huge. Really liked the place.
The hotel was nice overall, although we didn't spend much time hanging about as we were in NYC most of the time. The location is quite good if you wish to take the PATH train into NY (takes about 30-40 mins to Manhattan), the train station is only a 10 min stroll. However, the Penn station in Newark is quite rough, especially at night. Lots of police, ambulance and homeless people. If you have children or if you're a solo traveller make sure you are prepared for this. Nobody bothered us, but as I say, it can be very unpleasant at night. During the day it was fine. The room itself was nice, the bed was comfy and everything was clean. There was a coffee machine, fridge and a safe. The bathroom was nice and the shower was massive. Parking is right next to the hotel and has a security guard 24/7 so we felt really comfortable with leaving our car there.
There was some noise from aircon on our last night, we called the reception and told them what the problem was as we could see it from our room, but they said they can't do anything about it. We couldn't sleep until 4am!
Room was perfect. Clean and Roomy. No issues
Staff at Dutches restaurant could have been more helpful. Could have brought coffee and water to table instead having to go to counter to ask for it. I thought breakfast was overpriced.

Entonces mi pregunta es porqué vendéis qué tenéis parking cuando claramente no siempre es así!?
The place was clean. The airport and train station shuttle.
The place looks retro modern, but not in a good way. It’s just dark and dated. The not friendly staff made the experience even worse. I’m not young and was struggling to get my suitcases up the ramp, but nobody would help. There was no breakfast available at the place. I
I like the location of the hostel - one of the best locations in NYC.
The premium room was a bit too simplistic. The AC was weak. Noise and light insulation were also poor, so I had to sleep with a sleep mask and earplugs.
Room was clean and comfortable! Perfect location for a concert I saw with my daughter. The food at the restaurant was really great and very comfortable seating.
Valet attendant on the way out was not professional.
