Lovely little place
Pros:

Located 5 mins away from Desert Springs. The owner Rosa, and her son were very welcoming and helpful with local taxi firms and recommendations, cafe Lucero attached to the hotel serves very nice coffee with a good selection of tapas, nice beers and wines.
The air conditioning in the bedroom was a good send in the recent heat waves, we also had a terrace (overlooking a bit of land waiting development) but even at night it was too hot to stay out there too long. Lunar water park is about 8 mins away for wake boarding, paddle boarding and inflatables.
There are also some caves locally that are well worth a visit, apparently carving out your own house in the soft rock of Almeria was the thing to do since prehistoric times. Some of the caves even have decaying furniture left in them. So loads of things to do right on the doorstep of Hotel Lucero!

Cons:

There was a strange noise that sounded a bit like a water pump starting, lasting for probably 30 seconds or so then a break for about a minute then off again for 30 seconds or so. This cycle happens every 10 to 15 minutes.
My partner had a slight issue with the lack of temperature in the shower hot water after we'd been there a few days, this was sorted but it only ran warm after that.

Suciedad y sin agua caliente.
Cons:

Habitación sucia y sin agua caliente, almohadas pésimas. Es la tercera vez que estamos en este hotel y ha empeorado una barbaridad.
