We had room only . The pool was good, if a little cold. The lounge area was really nice and comfortable. Staff were lovely.
Hotel was quite dated and catered more for coach trips.
Rustige ligging en toch vlakbij het centrum.
Kleinschalig en lekker ontbijt.
Erg warm
The staff were fantastic, very good customer service received by all members of staff.
Swimming pool was lovely and warm
Evening entertainment was brilliant
Breakfast could of been better
1/4 of slice of toast for fried bread and the smart price apple juice needs improving
The staff were friendly- they gave us lots of information about our stay when we first arrived. Accomodating with our child's needs.
They were accommodating with food in our rooms- offered to provide plates and cutlery if we wanted to take away instead of eating out.
The "heated" pool was not heated. It was very cold when we went in. Also the lino was coming away from the steps.
The rooms are dated. The layout of the soap against the shower head needed rethinking- was a very awkward shower because of it.
We booked a room for 3 people, but had to ask for extra towels as they only provided two sets.
The breakfast wasn't great. After two minutes of ordering, our food had arrived.
The booking.com advertisment needs looking at, it's not clear that breakfast was £10 per person, per night.
The housekeeping are insanely eager to get into your room. The knocked and entered without any words, over an hour before we were due to check out.
There was no communication regarding coach parties - we wanted to move the car from the carpark at 9- but we're stuck as three coaches were in the carpark. This was not communicated to us as a pre warning before hand.
The manager, Suzy, is a lovely person, very welcoming, helpful and charming. Location is perfect, just a short walk from the harbour and the main attractions. Torquay has very steep roads, older people like myself needed a taxi to take me back to the hotel.
The staff were all so friendly, suey the manager was so accommodating.
The beds were every comfortable. Rooms were a bit out dated, but we only had it to sleep in.
Good prices at the bar.
Games room was fun.
Evening entertainment by Julie the singer was a really good night.
Plenty of parking
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss.
Asked for a bacon butty morning after my full English, as it was cold and got 1 slice of bacon on 2 slices of bread. I did find it funny. Morning after I asked for 3 slices and I did get it and hot
We got put in an upstairs room in the lodge, The management knew full well I was a stick and my wife is still recovering from a fall in which she was badly injured. So no I was not happy and not used or recommend this hotel

This is an 3 star hotel so I had no high expectations but the level of customer service exceeded them. All staff members were very polite and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the lift had issues but the lady at the reception was dealing with that on urgent matter as there was guests inside but at the same time giving us un excellent service. Her assistant offered help to carry our bags to our room.
We only stayed for two nights but our room was cleaned on our first morning. This level you don't see in 4 star hotels.
The hotel layout need a bit of improvement and in my opinion all carpets should be removed as that also would remove the small bad smell.
This hotel was orientated for coach guests only but is now open for families too with high potential and a gorgeous swimming pool. The improvement here would be pool service and cocktail offers in plastic glasses for safety. The bar has not cocktail options yet but has all necessary ingredients so a recipe can be easily downloaded and followed.
Really lovely staff. Nice big room. Location. Value for money.
Close to port
Furniture damaged, hotel very old and not update for ages, breakfast serve to table so every day same small breakfast. No value for money we pay.
The hotel was dated and mainly devoted to bus trip guests. We were not given any information relating to meals such as breakfast or evening meal and as these were not offered, we didn’t feel welcome as booking.com guests.
We were misinformed of pool opening times and this led to our sons missing out on the pool. The room was basic with zero internet access- not great when travelling with teens.
Poorly positioned soap dispenser in bathroom which led to an uncomfortable showering experience, due to obstruction and irritating shower curtain.
We wouldn’t stay here again due to the above as it was not suitable for our requirements.
Breakfast was adequate for us. It was nice that tea and coffee pots were already on the table. The times were short and would prefer a bit longer.
Breakfast times were short.
