Not stayed at the Palm Court for several years / always known as the best in Scarborough, it’s a pity the pool closed several years ago although it was dated even then & in need of an overhaul .
Our room (23) was very dated , a shower curtain, torn net curtains , dated decor etc several of the other rooms looked to have been updated & looked much fresher ! Staff are lovely & helpful .

Everything! Location perfect for furnicular tram and perfect for restaurants and shops although food in the hotel delicious and very well presented by very courteous staff. Very comfortable bed and room. Spacious too.

Great location which was only 2 mins walk from a conference venue. Also great proximity to the seafront and shops.

We were on the 1st floor but we could hear the other residents who were on the room above us.
There was construction work outside our window and there was a lot of noise from the building work as well as foul language from the construction workers.
The hotel was very well run ,The staff where first class ,the breakfast was excellent.The only thing the bar very exspensive .

Staff were very polite, helpful, constantly busy but happy, always cleaning table and redressing them, the hotel was very clean, overall, I couldn't outside them more.
The room we had, only had one chair which meant one of us had to sit on the bed, hard work when your disabled, the shower was too high for me to get into too.

Clean professional service and quality of service was excellent. All staff from cleaners to management respectful and courteous.
everything about location was spot on the breakfast was freshly cooked and the option to request food combination was nice.the room was spacious only problem was due to age air conditioning is not installed a fan was supplied but because of size room was hto even with fan blowing all in a lovely hotel and the bar was not over priced
only little gripe was a bottle of spring water was supplied on arrival in room on opening we discovered housekeeping had filled with tap water ,i mentioned to manager in morning but he didn't seem to make much off it not even offering a replacement
We loved the location of the hotel. Breakfast in the dining room was very good & all the staff we met were exceptional. Comfortable areas to sit & have a drink in the bar area.
The 2 nights we stayed it was very warm & our room on the top floor was the hottest we have experienced in a hotel room. It was too hot to sleep in the bed & we slept on top of the covers.
Our room was very small with hardly any room for our suitcases.
