Man sollte länger als einen Tag bleiben
Pros:

Mitten in der Altstadt und doch direkt an der Donau, also ideal, wenn man mit dem Schiff weiterreisen will. Sehr großes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss, alles vorhanden, was man braucht, sogar eine Dachterrasse. Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr freundlicher Service.

Kleiner Parkplatz im Haus , hatte ich Glück , kann nicht reserviert werden.
Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal

Cons:

Kleiner Nachteil, Zimmer zur Fussgängerzone, durch die Gastronomie etwas laut, wenn es warm ist und Fenster auf, na ja.
Aber es werden Orstöpsel gestellt und um 23 Uhr ist Ruhe.

Localisation exceptionnelle.
Hormis 2 petits points à améliorer, j'ai été très satisfaite de mon séjour.

Cons:

Deux petits bémols, de ma chambre, fenêtres ouvertes: odeurs de fritures ( bacon) en matinée.
Absence de voilage ( vis à vis) .

Pros:

The location is perfect. The staff were very helpful. Bicycle storage too. Lots of little attention to detail and complimentary drink offered and small chocolate on bed. Very welcoming for sure. I will stay here again if I return to Passau. Convenient location, right by the old town.

Das Frühstück war gut , die Zimmer sehr klein , Preis-Leistung entsprechend gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht gut zu

man hat die Wahl, bei 28-29 Grad oder gefühlt 80 dB im Zimmer zu nächtigen

Sehr gut ist das üppige Frühstück einschließlich des engagierten Servicepersonales und die sehr zentrale Lage, fußläufig ist alles in kurzer Zeit erreichbar.

Cons:

Leider leider war das 4-Sterne-Haus sehr enttäuschend. Los geht es mit einem muffigen Geruch, der einem sofort entgegen schlägt und der auch noch Tage danach in den Sachen hängt. Die Zimmer (hier Einzelzimmer) sind klein, das Bad extrem klein, etwa 4qm und ohne Ablagen.
Das ist jedoch alles nichts gegen die Kombination aus Hitze im Zimmer und Straßen- / Party- / Schiffs- Lärm vor dem Fenster. Die Zimmer zeigen unmittelbar auf das Kreuzfahrtterminal, wo morgens zeitig ca. 4-5 Schiffe an- und ablegen, entsprechender Waren- und Passagierverkehr inclusive. Außerdem schaut man auf zwei Straßen, eine davon eine Fernverkehrsstraße (im Zimmer liegen Ohrstöpsel aus, aber für dreistellige Beträge damit schlafen? Danke nein). Das Zimmer war bei Ankunft sehr aufgeheizt, ca. 28-29 Grad. Leider gibt es keine Klimaanlage, der vorhandene Ventilator schaufelt die Hitze nur um. Man hat nun also die Wahl, Hitze oder Lärm in der Nacht.
Da spielt es schon fast keine Rolle, dass vom Fernsehprogramm nur die Hälfte der Sender funktionierte (! Fußball-WM-Zeit) und die Betten sehr sehr niedrig sind (40cm) sowie, je nach Geschmack, zu weich. Der Check-In und die Bar sind ziemlich uninspiriert, aber das nur noch nebenbei.
Leider keine Empfehlung, m.M.n. ein 2-Sterne-Garni-Haus

Zentrumsnahes Hotel und sicheres Unterstellen der Fahrräder.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Die 4-Sterne kann ich nicht nachvollziehen.
