Excellent hotel, excellent breakfast and a fantastic view of the Sassi area in Matera
Pros:

The hotel was excellent located, overlooking the Sassi area of Matera. One could sit outside on the terrace in the morning during breakfast or having a drink in the evening. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Our room was spacious and everything worked fantastic. There was a covered parking lot very close to the hotel which cost Euro 10 per day, but it was totally worth it. The staff, especially David at the front desk, spoke very good English and was very helpful.

Pros:

A localização é perfeita, a 200 m de um estacionamento coberto. O café da manhã é perfeito, tudo fresco e pode ser tomado em um terraço com vista para a cidade histórica. O atendimento foi muito gentil.

Cons:

Achei as instalações do hotel muito simples com cara de albergue. Merecia um capricho maior, considerando o valor da diária.

Hotel incrível logo na entrada dos Sassi de Matera, com uma vista indescritível. Você pode tomar café da manhã observando a linda cidade de Matera, além ver o nascer do sol ou tomar um drink e relaxar à noite.
Quarto dentro da caverna que um dia foi um apartamento, tornando a estadia ainda mais imersiva e única.
Todos os funcionários foram prestativos e agradáveis, com destaque especial para David, que nos recebeu e deu ótimas dicas e informações históricas e culturais sobre a cidade

Absolutely amazing.
Pros:

The most amazing hotel on the edge of the Sassi and the view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking. The staff were so welcoming and helpful even letting us have breakfast before 7.30 as we had an early flight and, organising a taxi to the airport for us. Our cave room was perfect, the breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to be able to have it on the terrace with the views. If you're going to Matera definitely stay at this hotel, you won't be disappointed.

Pros:

Très bel hôtel. Vue exceptionnelle sur Matera depuis la terrasse. L'hôtel est très bien équipé et le personnel extrêmement sympathique, arrangeant et serviable. Le petit dejeuner est également de très grande qualité.

We chose the Junior suite which had been beautifully renovated a year ago. It was stunning!
Spacious and cleverly designed. We just wish we could have stayed for longer than 1 night.
The terrace at the top that was open to everyone had ‘jaw dropping’ views!
The staff were absolutely charming and it was obvious they were passionate about their beautiful hotel.
Breakfast served on the terrace was a lovely continental buffet … all so perfect! ❤️

Cons:

One constructive piece of criticism was that we wish we had been told about the dehumidifier that was opposite our bed and powerfully cut in when the cave room reached a certain point. This resulted in only a couple of hours sleep for me. We thought it was a heater as very warm and coming on when it felt like it! It had been 28/30 degrees outside!

Disappointment for a solo traveler but amazing view

The location was good, the staff friendly and the view over to Matera Sassi amazing.

Cons:

I was traveling alone and got a shitty room to be honest. They called it the monk room and it was really small, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the room was cold in the night, shower was cold and the curtains didn’t hold out the sun in the morning so I woke up at 6 because of brightness. Pretty sure other rooms are better but this was a huge disappointment for me and the worst accommodation I had on my one week trip in Puglia and Matera. Thought I was paying for something better than this. Sad to have to give this comment but this was not a good experience for me.

First time in Matera and definately recommend you add this to your Pulia itinery.
Pros:

The location on the edge of sassi was perfect. The room was cool and bed comfortable Shower good and hot. Staff friendly. Nice buffet breakfast with some local foods to try and great coffee. Nothing to find a fault with and would highly recommend.
