Cleanliness
3.8
Several reviewers reported serious hygiene problems (feces on bathroom door handle, dirty and uneven corridor carpet) and repeated inadequate cleaning; cleanliness is a major weakness.
Service
9.6
Consistently praised: very friendly and attentive staff, quick service and helpful personnel across multiple reviews.
Location
7.8
Mixed feedback: described as a good/affordable location with nice views, but proximity to a mosque causes early-morning noise for some guests.
Room Quality
9.3
Generally spacious, comfortable and cozy rooms with good views; some isolated issues (noisy machine room, aircon problems) but overall room comfort is strong.
Amenities
8
Amenities are generally sufficient, but several mentions of malfunctioning items (air conditioning underperforming, problematic hairdryer, shower lacking handheld) lower the score.
Value for Money
9
Multiple reviewers noted the price is affordable and the hotel represents good value; repeat stays indicate perceived strong value.
Food and Beverage
9.1
Breakfast repeatedly praised (extraordinary/tasty), though renovation-related relocation and heat reduced comfort for some; overall F&B quality is high.
Overall Experience
9
Overall impressions are positive with repeat guests and many 'wonderful stay' comments, but serious cleanliness incidents negatively affect some stays.

Sla dit hotel maar lekker over. Beter naar Illira, El (Royale) of Cocoon.
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Cons:

One of the best at Banyuwangi
Pros:

This was our second stay at Aston Banyuwangi Hotel & Conference Center, and once again it was a pleasant experience. Spacious and comfortable rooms, making it a great choice for a family getaway. The room was clean, cozy, and provided enough space for everyone to relax comfortably. The beautiful view from the room, especially after the rain, made our stay even more memorable.

Breakfast was tasty with good quality food, I felt there could be more variety in the menu selection. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyable.

Overall, Aston Banyuwangi remains one of our preferred hotels whenever we visit Banyuwangi. We look forward to returning again in the future.
